"Parking lot was huge and no one was in it this time of year; there were NO staff present at all - our room keys were in an envelope taped to the wall when we walked in the front. Also the bed frames need to be replaced. You could not move at ALL on the bed without horrible scraping and squeaking noise - we are talking just to SIT on the bed... Rooms were pleasant and view of the river was nice... even the restaurant was closed on a Tuesday so.... we saw NO ONE."

"Very much enjoyed the location and proximity to Pinecrest and Twain Harte, the tall windows, fireplace and view. Kitchen was nice and bed very comfortable. The place was very quiet and relaxing. Spiral staircase took some getting used to. We had a fun trip. "

"Owner was nice. Place was very clean except for cobwebs in the high ceilings and windows. Our stay was nice and very quiet. Outdoor deck has a beautiful view. A few quirks to overcome. Cooking in the downstairs attached residence permeates to the rental area. Photo shows upstairs loft and room at the end of the hall which was locked and occupied by the owner. We think this was a cooking area for the downstairs occupants. This room had a large gap under the door. We placed a towel down to...
