"We absolutely loved our trip here. The cabin is more gorgeous in person than the pictures. The cabin is close to everything and a short walk to the town. The outdoor seating area with the fire was a welcome way to spend a cool evening. It was nice to have a kitchen and laundry room. The loft overlooking the water was perfect. We hope to come back and would absolutely stay here again!"

"This is a lovely and comfortable home. Loved enjoying my morning coffee on the dock each day. Easy drive to many Acadia sights and plenty of great hiking and things to see on the quiet side. We took the canoe and kayak out on the pond as well. The only reason I rated check-in as 4 stars vs five is that I had to contact the host to obtain check-in info and some basic info about the kitchen, and it took a day or so to respond. "Nicely renovated 2-story farmhouse close to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Beds are comfortable, although smaller bedrooms lack storage space for clothes. nice spaces inside, including large dining room with a table for 6 and a sunroom. House was clean with lots of windows."

"We were very pleased with the accommodations. It was just we wanted someplace very quiet. We could see a Night Sky and it wasn’t far from the town for anything we needed, and we drove over to Bar Harbor a couple of days which isn’t that far from there and also Bangor we met One of the owners and she was very nice and offered if we needed anything to get a hold of her, but we didn’t need anything and everything was excellent"

"We really enjoyed our 5 nite stay in this beautiful waterfront home overlooking Monroe Island and beyond. The highlight of this home is the stunning view from every room, with even a glimpse of the Owl Head Light - look thru the sliding door & across the harbor. The home has been nicely updated with hardwood floors throughout and is very comfortably furnished, well equipped and maintained. We look forward to (many) return visits!
