"This is close to the thornton gap entrance. With the shades open, it's a very sunny house. The house is right in the town of Luray, so you're close to your neighbors, but they're quiet. If possible, the owners should put a curtain in front of the front glass door."

"I've gotten used to bracing myself for the listing of vacation rentals falling short to what they are like in real person. But this place was fantastic. Clean, everything was nice, the pictures did not do it justice, gorgeous views, everything in working order, great communication from the host. "While there was a miscommunication between the owner and the cleaning crew resulting in us arriving to a dirty cabin at the beginning of our stay, Andy was very responsive and got someone out to get the place spotless within an hour. "We stayed overnight due to a snowstorm. There was someone else’s hair in the bathroom and the walls looked a little iffy. The table wobbled and had sticky red spots on it. The desk chair was not stable. The toilet didn’t flush several times and maintenance had to come up twice and then just left us a plunger to do it ourselves (which had to be done a few more times). The beds were ok. Relieved we only had to stay overnight. "
