Must See - Beautiful Lakefront Cabin - Stunning Year-Round Views - Private Lake!

Enjoy peace and tranquility on this beautiful private lake. This is truly the Northwoods vacation spot of your dreams - unwind and connect with nature as the world becomes more distant!

Lakeside Cabin is situated just steps from the water on a private peninsula with beautiful lake frontage, two sandy bottom shorelines for wading or swimming (great for kids), large boat landing on the property (free of charge), a fishing dock with a bench; and stunning year-round lake views from every window - it is very much like your own private resort!

Lakeside cabin offers a great way to experience the Northwoods of Wisconsin. The Cabin is located on beautiful Little Sissabagama Lake (locally referred to as Little Siss), which is in the heart of the northwestern woods of Wisconsin, in between the towns of Spooner and Hayward, and is an easy 2.5 hour drive from the Twin Cities. The surrounding area is considered by many to be one of the finest examples of the Northwoods due to the diverse landscape, dense coverage of various types of trees, and an abundance of fish and bird populations. From the forested shorelines, coves, islands, and winding narrows to the ethereal echo of loons, it's a Northwoods experience straight out of a novel.

Little Siss is a private 'quiet' lake with nearly no traffic and is great for boating (up to 130HP motors), water skiing, tubing, fishing (class A Musky lake), kayaking, and swimming. Lakeside Cabin is also great during the winter season - enjoy great ice fishing just outside the front door, snowshoeing on the lake, cross-country skiing, and an open campfire under the stars!

Lakeside Cabin comfortably sleeps up to 10 people. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms (one on each level), a grand 2 story living-room, fully equipped kitchen, and a walkout basement ready for entertainment. Enjoy bringing back some fun memories playing an arcade machine (free of charge) with over 400 top arcade games of the 80's and 90's, or challenge friends and family to a game of pool or ping-pong - guaranteed to be a big hit!

Lakeside Cabin is also loaded with several comforts and amenities including central heating/air-conditioning, wood-stove fireplace, washer/dryer, high-speed Starlink Internet (Wi-Fi), DVD player, and High-Definition televisions featuring DirecTV throughout the cabin.

Bring your boat/pontoon - Lakeside Cabin offers a large boat ramp/launch conveniently located just outside your front door. We also provide our guests with a rowboat and 2 kayaks free of charge. Motorized boat/pontoon rental is also available from a 3rd party vendor with free delivery and pickup to our docks.

We also allow up to two house-trained and well-behaved dogs, so, bring your furry family member(s) and enjoy the tranquility and privacy of your very own piece of paradise!

Home was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Enjoyed the pool table and PAC Man. Location was near Stone Lake as desired for Cranberry Fest. One of the bedrooms has double bunk beds. Didn’t work as well as we would have liked, as our group was all adults except one teen. Overall stay was great. Would definitely recommend!

We had a wonderful week at Lakeside cabin! Accommodations were excellent (clean and well stocked) weather was beautiful and the fish were biting making for a great week of time spent with our adult children. Excellent for a family getaway!
The cabin is excellent and the lake is wonderfully quiet. Enjoyed lots of fishing - both from the boat we brought and the kayaks furnished by the owners. The game room downstairs is excellent for rainy day entertainment inside. Definitely recommend for small group or family getaways.

We had a fantastic time. The kids enjoyed playing pool and ping pong. Hearing the Loons in the morning was a plus. Very nice cabin, quiet, and enjoyed sitting out on the dock watching the wildlife. Would definitely stay again.

Booked this cabin many months in advance for a late August trip with our family of 6 adults and 1 dog. My hopes of what it would be were far exceeded. The cabin was perfectly set up for everyone to have their own level with a bedroom/full bath. The lower level is the game room, queen/full bunk bed room, full bath, utility room with nice washer and dryer. Main level is kitchen with everything needed, family room with the most beautiful view of lake, full bathroom, and 2 smaller bedrooms with either full or queen sized bed. Upstairs master was so nice to have with the bed looking out to the lake. Master bath was great. Heaters in all bathrooms is a nice touch. Waking up to the lake view and call of loons was so peaceful. Little Siss is amazing. I believe I read in the cabin that Sissabagama means “many bays” and that is what it is. Beautiful bays around every corner. No public boat launch so very little traffic on the lake which only consisted of pontoons or kayakers. Had an eagle and blue heron fly over me at the same time while kayaking in the bay of the cabin..magical! Rented a pontoon from the nice lady recommended by the cabin owners. That was perfect to have it already at the pier when we arrived. Excellent fishing. Lots of northern, crappie, bass, blue gills. Fish cleaning station was great to have. Overall, this was the funnest most relaxing family trip we have had and as soon as we got home we booked it again for next year and for longer. Amazing! Thank you!

Awesome 3rd Annual Family Gathering!
This was our 2nd year at Lakeside Cabin and we had stayed next door at Boulder Lodge the first year. Both are clean, well-supplied cabins. So family friendly. We loved having the two kayaks and used them every day! Beds are comfortable and we, as seniors, love having the loft bedroom/bathroom w shower all to ourselves. We made good use of the fire pit. Water is great for swimming. Clean and clear. We did have a bad storm one evening and lost power for a few hours. Unfortunately the generator did not kick in but Scott was prompt to reply and do what he could to make things better. All in all, Scott is a great host and we highly recommend Lakeside Cabin.

This is our second time staying at Lakeside. It is the perfect getaway for our full family. You can catch excellent fish right off the dock, and the kayaking is amazing as well. We love the lake so much and it is perfect for our family of many ages.

Ideal for a family vacation!
It was a good week up at this cabin - there were 7 of us; 3 teen kids, 4 adults, plus 2 small dogs. Everyone had a place to sleep, and it helped that there were 3 bathrooms, one on each level. The kitchen had most of the items needed for fixing any meals. We were able to do laundry as needed - all appliances worked fine. We brought kayaks, and there were 2 add'l ones in the boat house. Overall, we would highly recommend this cabin and the beautiful location.

Great location & beautiful cabin.
It was a beautiful cabin & location was great, we went in the winter. Worked well for our snowshoeing adventures & loved the ping pong & pool table as well. They had WiFi, but don’t plan on streaming anything -we took Roku stick but connection wasn’t strong enough. It was fine for us we played board games & spent time looking out at the beautiful view & relaxed by the fire. Very clean & loved the layout. Kids stayed downstairs & adults stayed in main floor w/bathroom & upstairs master bedroom w/bathroom. Asked owners a question during stay & they were quick to respond. Worked well for our dog too & we really enjoyed our time!
