Fern Spring Cabin

Welcome to our cabin. As you move down the driveway, you will see stone walls, and rock landscaping. The cabin is nestled among the trees. The atmosphere we have attempted to create is one of peace and solitude. Solitude is refreshing; an opportunity to renew ourselves. Solitude helps us to appreciate things in life that we may have taken for granted; the friends, the past, memories.

We invite you to enjoy our wrap around porch, view nature at its best. Sit around the fire ring and relax. Indoor furnishings include furniture and kitchen cabinets made from Grandpa's barn. Feel free to take a walk on our cow-path road, and see our truly Amish country setting.

If eating out and shopping are on your list, East Main Kitchen in Baltic (10 minutes away) will satisfy your appetite. Sugarcreek, home of the world's largest cuckoo clock is fifteen minutes away. Berlin (30 minutes ) will allow you to shop till you drop.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Paul and Mary were absolutely wonderful hosts! The location was perfect, just secluded enough, the cabin was beautiful, the kitchen perfectly stocked. We loved everything about this place, no complaints at all!

Serene Getaway

Country fan
It’s a great place to unplug, relax and enjoy a peaceful quiet getaway and that it was half way point to our daughter in PA. But we stayed for Christmas Eve and Day and the hosts had it decorated for Christmas and it wasn’t too much and just enough. We did get use out of the hot tub. (Not sure if too noisy but it was nice).

Adorable “Holiday House”
We loved our stay in this quaint chalet in the Amish countryside! We stayed at holiday time and called it “Holiday House” because it was so beautifully decorated and cozy. Highly recommend!

Perfect Retreat
Came with my mom and our dog. It was just the perfect retreat. We spent a week reading and it was awesome. God has truly blessed this home. Even our puppy loved it. I recommend it to anyone who is looking to unplug from this crazy world. Thank you and see you in October!!

Sweetest little cabin ever. Perfectly clean, quiet and beautifully decorated. Lovely Christmas decorations added for a festive feeling. This is definitely a place to unwind and relax. Just beautiful!!!

This cabin is so beautiful. It was a relaxing weekend getaway. Definitely would stay again. Cabin was clean and the owners were nice enough to tell us we could stay later than check out because no one was coming to stay tonight. 5stars recommended.

Relaxing weekend
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were a few kinks when we arrived but Paul showed up right away and explained everything. The place was beautiful and had everything we needed for the weekend. We enjoyed the firepit and hot tub.

"Quiet" Retreat
If you're looking for a "quiet" retreat...this is the place to be! It was conveniently located to Baltic, Sugarcreek, and other nearby towns, but far enough away to hear the birds chirping on the gorgeous extended deck. We had a wonderful stay! :-)

October getaway
Had a WONDERFUL time! What a beautiful / spotlessly clean cabin and everything you need was there to get you started, even coffee for the AM ;) My husband and I visited in October the cabin had been decorated inside and out for fall, what a cute touch. I knew as we pulled up to the cabin this was going to be a perfect 2-week getaway!! We both were pleasantly surprised as deer visited morning and night, I love nature so that was a definite plus! Our Hosts have gone above and beyond to make this cabin a perfect getaway/ retreat. Our Host were very gracious and accommodating, we will be returning next year!!

Mom and Daughter Weekend
Love!!! This was our 3rd time staying and we just love getting away to spend time together at this cabin. We read, painted on the porch, played games, talked, laughed, and RELAXED. It was so peaceful! So clean and decorated so beautifully!
