Beautiful house in good location with relaxing pool and hot tub
My stay was a family vacation with my two adult daughters, grandson and future son-in-law. It was a central location for our visits to other places/attractions.

Home away from home
Our family was in town for a family reunion and this was the perfect place. We enjoyed being able to cook in the wonderful kitchen, and rest up between our activities. Our host was great at communicating and we look forward to staying here again.

Great Home
Our family has been visiting relatives in Stockton for years and could never find a great place to stay. Well, the search is finally over. This property is perfect. It’s a great house in a great neighborhood. Steve has made the check-in and check-out process easy and accommodating. He was available for us to answer the few questions we had. We will be staying here again.

Relaxing, nice pool
We had an issue upon check-in but the host was responsive to our concerns and came out to the property while we waited in the backyard by the pool. The pool and waterfall feature was so nice and relaxing, specifically the sun shelf area. The hot tub, though not heated, drained each evening around 7:00pm and refilled around 11:00am in the morning. Large well-appointed home and as a surprise the hosts left us a bottle of red wine and a bottle of sparkling cider for the kids. Being able to do laundry onsite was also a nice surprise.

The house is clean and had all the amenities that we wanted. The pool was great as the heat during the day was over 100. The house is located 1 1/2 hours from Napa and the same distance from San Francisco. The owner contacted us to make sure that everything was ok and to see if we needed anything. We highly recommend this house.

Great Stay
We have stayed at this property a couple of times and when it’s available we choose it. It is spacious and well appointed. The area is quiet. The neighborhood is walkable. It’s easy to get to. We have a place we can hang out and connect. BeaJae

Great Spot For Work Base
Did some retail construction in Stockton. Three employees stayed and were very comfortable after the long days. This home was clean and friendly and ample and close. Would stay again!

Amazing Space
We had a really enjoyable time. We worked daily and came back to a beautiful spacious home. It was like being at home. The place was big enough for at least 8 people. There were 3 of us and we all had a space to be after being together at a training all day. Nice touches throughout. I will definitely stay there again whenever I’m in the area. Wonderful hosts!

Very clean.
Property was in a nice neighborhood and very clean. I wish the kitchen was stocked with more pot, pans, utensils etc for cooking. It was difficult to cook an entire meal. Also could use new bath towels. They were getting thin, but there were plenty for our family of 5. The host did leave us a bottle of wine which was very nice! Overall a very nice place to stay.

The home was lovely and conveniently located.
The owner was very kind and also available for questions. We enjoyed our stay and the home. Wished the hot tub would have been heated as we would have used it. Beautiful backyard landscaping. Would definitely rent it again!

Great central location, great host!
We were a group of sisters on a trip to Cali. We were easily able to go to San Francisco and Napa for Day trips. On our down days we relaxed by the pool and just enjoyed the quiet neighborhood. The host, Steve was great and kept in contact with me and quick responses. We highly recommend this rental!

An oasis in the Central Valley

For having to stay in Stockton CA of all places for over a week, we were grateful to have found this listing. Safe neighborhood, clean home. Wish we could have enjoyed the pool more!

The house was great. Very clean and for the most part, well stocked. Just a few minor things I would have liked. There were no grilling tools in the kitchen. All of the glasses provided were small and made of glass. If you want something larger or for outside, I recommend you buy or bring your own. Saying the pool is available "all day" is misleading. Just know the day ends at 6pm. The filters will turn off and the hot tub portion will drain empty, whether or not you have it heated. If you plan to take a dip or sit in the hot tub in the early evening, it is not an option. The outdoor area around the pool is also small in in size. Fine for 2 people or at most 4 to sit comfortably. The design of the pool with the rocks also makes it difficult to get in and out of if you have any mobility or balance issues. I wouldn't choose this place again because of the pool. It depends on what one is looking for. The house itself was great, but if you are looking to spend much time at the pool, not sure I would recommend.

Nice property, friendly owner, unnecessary fees
The property itself was nice but didn’t include everything online without additional charges. A group of couples rented this house for a wedding and had no issues checking in - the landlord was flexible with arrival time. Once we arrived we found that there was an additional cost for more than four guests. There was an additional (and expensive) charge for to turn on the hot tub or to use the outdoor grill.

Dear Colin, Thank you for your review, i got socked when i saw your review that showed you did not have the happy stay with us because of the extra fees were billed and proposed to you. Those fees were already mentioned on our list that you had read them by the time you placed the booking for our vacation house. We also contacted you on Vrbo when we received your booking that mentioned again about the extra fees. I’m not so sure how you missed the information about the extra fees. You booked for 4 persons and checked in with more than 4 people so you need to pay for the extra people. You wanted to use the hot tub with the hot water then we proposed you the extra fee for the pool heater. You wanted to use the outdoor grill all you needed to do was exchanging the empty propane tank in the near by gas station like our other guests did. We are happy to offer our guests the early check-in or the late check-out when the house availability allows us. With all of the great things and service that we offered to you we are sad that you were not happy. I wish you luck with the future rental property.

Great Place - Welcoming & Comfortable
The property is GREAT - clean, comfortable, beautiful! It is so relaxing. There is levee access and we were able to walk and take pictures. Steve is great - accommodating and accessible. I will stay here for my future visits.

Wonderful
This is a beautiful house, spacious, clean and big. It has really clean pool as well. The kitchen has cooking utensils, plates and cups, however, there are no basic kitchen supplies so make sure to go shopping if you are planning on cooking. We ended up buying stuff we could not use up and had to throw away due to the quantity it comes in for example, oil, salt, etc… for a 4-day trip. Also take your own personal bathing supplies, shampoo, conditioner, etc… The host is exceptional and communicates really well. Thanks for the bottle of wine and sparkling cider. Overall this is a nice place to stay, definitely will return.

My family and friends are experienced travelers and have our own rental properties, so we appreciate a good deal and wonderful VRBO home – this one is top-notch! First and foremost, this vacation home is super clean. Immaculate! Spacious inside and out. Each room is well proportioned and very large closets. - Easy contactless entry and included all the basics amenities. - Ample parking for multiple cars in the garage, driveway, and street. - HVAC worked very fast to create the perfect temp inside. - Easy-to-connect wireless throughout the house (no dead spots detected). - Appreciated and welcomed the bottle of wine and sparkling cider for our birthday celebration. - Didn’t use pool, spa, or sauna on this trip, but looked inviting. The number one question you probably have is, “Would you stay here again?” YES!

Plenty of room
We are always looking for somewhere to stay when working out of town. It’s difficult at times to find somewhere comfortable enough for 5-6 adults but this was very spacious and comfortable. I will definitely try to stay here again if I’m back in the area.

Amazing home and location!
We enjoyed everything about the home! So spacious and has everything that you could need. Steven was a great host and went above and beyond! The hot tub and sauna were amazing I used one or the other at least every night. The levee out back was so peaceful and we enjoyed many nights and mornings sitting out there. The bikes were an amazing addition I used it every single day and really got a great workout on the path. Definitely my go to any time I’m in Stockton

Wonderful holiday house!
Great house, very clean with wonderful ambiance. Lovely pool, spa and sauna. Please note pool AND spa not heated. I knew the pool wasn’t heated when I booked. However, I was unaware the spa was not heated too. Communication with owner was exceptional. All in all, do not hesitate to get this booking. We loved it and will be back when we can. Thank you for a fabulous vacation home!

Escape from home getaway.
Steve’s place awsome. Conveniently located off highway. Nearby stores and restaurants. Home was very spacious. Pool, spa, sauna fishing poles, bicycles and 3 car garage we’re definitely a plus. Nice quite area with peaceful trails along levees. Steve is a quick responder and his maintenance guy Steve is on point. They responded quick to the minor issues and took care of immediately. I will definitely be returning to Steve’s place. Already booked for next month. You will not be disappointed with Steve’s place.

Would Stay Again!
A beautiful house with a quiet environment for you to relax and be at ease in. The inside was beautiful and very clean when we arrived. The pool, jacuzzi, and sauna were all phenomenal. The back of the house offers a creek if you want to fish. A shopping center and many restaurants can be found close to the house. The owner was extremely kind and responsive. An absolute recommend for a stay in the Stockton area.

The house is tidy cared for cleanliness and stocked with amenities. Our family feels like home and yet better than home with heated spa-pool and a sauna right in the backyard. We have been travelled and booked via HomeAway for many places in the delta and this is the best in both experiences and pricing. Will come back soon.
