"This is super convenient to both Bangor and Orono. This large 2 bedroom apartment is above a 3 bay garage so you don’t have to tiptoe. It is thoughfullydesigned so you have everything your need for either short or very long stays including a large bathroom with a washer and dryer. The beds are extremely comfortable and the sectional couch is a relaxing place to wind down. Very easy entry and great communication with the host. A great bargain!"

"I booked this property for my birthday weekend. We needed a nice, quiet place to relax after hiking in Acadia. I highly recommend this property. The property is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. The host provided a list of restaurants and stores in the area which was very helpful. We got pizza from Zeppa’s our first night there and it was great! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Little Vernon! We were in town for our first visit to Maine. It was about a hour drive to Acadia National Park, truly enjoyed that and the drive wasn't bad at all. The house had everything we needed for our short stay. Laurel answered any questions quickly. We would stay again if in the area."

"The property was exactly as shown in the pictures. The view of the lake was wonderful morning, noon and night. We appreciated the available kayaks. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. The only negative comment we have is that the water pressure in the bathroom was very low, especially in the shower. We will stay here agaIn!"

"Just got back from one week here. Really nice and comfortable house (and well quipped) in a great location if you want to be away from the crowds. Had a lot of fun on the lake, hiking the property, and day trips to Acadia. Acadia took us about an hour or so to get to, but well worth staying here- it’s a beautiful drive anyway. I think our dogs had more fun then we did- the property is perfect for dogs. Thank you and hope to be back!!"

"Communication with Travis was great. He was accommodating which was very much appreciated. The home did have a musty animal odor to it, which may have been due to the basement, there was a dehumidifier which was full. In the left downstairs bedroom the mattress protector has blood on it. The sheets were clean, but the mattress protector was dirty. Overall we had an enjoyable stay. Other than the odor and the mattress protector issue, we would stay here again. Very safe area."

"Everything is as described. I've been visiting Maine on the coast since I was young. But this time, I wanted to try staying on a lake or in a cabin. I don't recall if it was noted, but the house does have a privacy/security gate out to the road that is helpful if you have small children or want to keep your vehicles safe. The water on the lake is crystal clear where you can see fish just by looking down from the dock. Basic paper needs are well-supplied as is the water cooler in the kitchen....

"This rental is centrally located. Bangor is a short drive away and you can get to the coast in an hour. The house was very clean at a resonable price. The neighborhood is quiet and not far from neccesities. We especially enjoyed eating dinner on the river at peppers landing and the Bangor outdoor venue for concerts is beautiful. Great time and wonderful area! "
