"We had a wonderful stay at The Big Red House in Bangor! The home was spacious yet cozy, providing a welcoming atmosphere perfect for families or groups. The location couldn’t be better—just 10 minutes from anywhere in Bangor, making it easy to explore the area. The house was impeccably clean, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. "This was a great little place! 4 bedrooms, a fire pit, lots of dishes available. The general location is pretty central, with easy access to highways and the mall. The street is not the easiest to access, unfortunately. The floors were pretty squeaky, and the front downstairs mattress was not the most comfortable. "My grandson was so excited to see the bobcat in the yard. We’re no strangers to wild animals what a great home you have. Thanks for sharing your home with us. We would like to come back "

"Very peaceful setting directly on Pushaw Lake outside of Old Town. Out of the way from the populated tourist areas but all are accessible within a 1- 2 hour drive. Communication with property manager was excellent and house had everything we needed. Old Town had good restaurant options."

"This was a very clean space with lots of room to spread out. Lisa and Jeff were very easy to work with and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in the area. There was some street noise but it quieted down in the evening. I would come back again. Thank you for a lovely visit to northern Maine."

"This July we had a family reunion in Newport with 66 people attending. My large-ish family wanted to stay together and the accommodations in the lodge at Fogg Brook Resort could not have been more perfect. The space was large enough for 10 of us to be together without being on top of each other and the deck space added even more room for us to enjoy. We've recommended Fogg Brook's VRBO space to everyone at our event and will definitely stay there again!"

"The beach was exactly what I was searching for and made this our winning choice for a family vacation especially for our little kids. It was very quiet and comfortable even though there’s a whole line of cabins along the beach, which I didn’t realize when booking but turned out just fine! The AC didn’t circulate well upstairs but we were brought a fan right away and after that it was perfect. We would absolutely come back!"
