"The property was just as advertised but the images do not do the view justice. Everyone had a place to sleep and the house is so large, you never feel crowded with 12 adults staying there. Communication with the property management was great, we had a small issue with a sink and they were very respondent and resolved the issue the next morning. "

"Deer Haven is a very comfortable and spacious house on a secluded property with a great view from the balcony and upstairs bedroom. It is exactly as described on the VRBO listing. We enjoyed our stay and especially liked sitting around a cozy fire in the outdoor firepit. Would return to Deer Haven again with no hesitation !"

"My husband and I both loved this property. The location was absolutely beautiful. The set up of the house was sweet and very quaint for the 2 of us. Everything we needed was provided for cooking and linens so we didn't have to worry about packing those things. The only issue we did have was a bit of cleanliness. "I enjoyed every peaceful moment I was there! Living near, and working in a big city is loud and stressful. This was just what the Dr. ordered! Beautiful home in a beautiful setting with great amenities. Loved the lower level deck and propane fire pit that was ready to use! "Had a wonderful time on our short stay. Got some good walks in, saw a bunch of turkeys and enjoyed the solitude. Enjoyed a nice drive to Wardensville then up Winchester. Also had a fun dinner in Strasburg at the Old Dominion Doggery and Burger Shoppe. Highly recommend the cabin."

"The place is off the beaten path but well worth it. Serenity surrounds you. We went to SNP to hike Old Rag Mountain and were so thankful for the hot tub at the end of the day. It was perfect. The house is clean, we ate all our meals at the there and it is equipped with all the basic pots and dishes you will need. Fireplace was awesome too. Highly recommend. "

"If you're looking for a safe, secluded relaxing place to stay, this is it! Plenty of indoor and outdoor amenities to keep you entertained. Breathtaking view of the sunrise coming up over the mountains. Not far from dining and shopping. The host was amazing. Beds were very comfortable. Though we didn't use them it was fully stocked to prepare any meal. Highly recommend this property. I miss the front porch already. "

"It’s a very authentic cabin, so you really get the river/mountain vibes. The view is incredible, we ate every single meal outside, just enjoying nature. Jessica is incredible, she was really helpful through the check in and check out process. The beds are very comfortable and there is a gigantic bed in the room downstairs.
