Stay in this beautiful, 16th-century converted house, the oldest in the tiny village of Caio. A unique property, which would suit a large family or 6 friends. On the hillside, spread over 3 floors, the house has 2 separate entrances and lovely outdoor spaces for guests to enjoy.
The first entrance, on the top floor, is shared with the owners. On this floor, guests will find a large, elegant living room with panoramic views over the valley. The room is tastefully decorated with some lovely antique furniture, including armchairs, a sofa and extensive bookcases, as well as an attractive dining table.
The kitchen is also on the top floor and it is here where guests can appreciate the original features of the house, including a marble sink and large chimney breast. It is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and coffee machine.
There is a spacious, semi-shaded terrace on this top level, with a table and chairs, where guests can enjoy meals al fresco, with beautiful views out over the valley.
The middle floor includes a bedroom with a separate bathroom and a cosy nook to read in peace.
On the ground floor, which has a separate entrance, there are 2 further bedrooms and another bathroom. There is also a kitchenette, which is ideal for early morning coffee or a snack.
The private garden on this lower level, includes a gazebo, a pergola, a dining table and chairs.

Bedroom 1: The sunny master bedroom has a double bed, an antique wardrobe and a chest of drawers, plus comfortable armchairs. Double French windows lead out onto the balcony.
Bedroom 2: This second-floor bedroom has 2 single beds, which can be joined by prior arrangement, plus an extensive bookcase and a large mirrored wardrobe,
Bedroom 3: On the lower floor, this bedroom is furnished with 2 single beds, which can be joined by prior arrangement. A glass door opens onto a terrace.

Location
The semi-detached cottage is in a rural setting, however, there are grocery shops only 5 minutes away. The house is ideal for people who are keen to get out into nature to go hiking, mountain biking and motorbiking in the stunning Ligurian hills.
The town of Andora is just 20 minutes by car. Here there are plenty of shops as well as a lovely beach. Andora’s weekly market is on Mondays and offers the chance to try and buy the best local ingredients to cook at home.
The town of Alassio (30 minutes) is a popular resort. The Budello is a charming pedestrian street, full of interesting shops and cafés for you to explore. The town is known for its Art Nouveau architecture and the Muretto di Alassio which is tiled with the signatures of many famous visitors, including Ernest Hemingway and Jean Cocteau.
The closest airports are Genoa airport, a 1 hour and 30-minute drive or Nice airport in France which is 1 hour and 35 minutes, from the apartment.
