The reasons for the four stars. 1. Inside the oven looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. 2. The freezer needed to be cleaned. 3. The screen enclosure looked like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. 4. The grass was so high couldn't enjoy the big yard. 5. The grill needed to be cleaned. Now the house was really nice and clean. They also allowed pets. Had plently of parking spaces.

Great Place to Stay in Steinhatchee!
This house and surrounding property fit our family well. We loved the layout of the house and all the things the host provided to make our stay special. It was very clean. The furniture was very comfortable and beds were not too hard. The covered back porch was lovely for relaxing and feeling the breeze. The huge back yard was great for walking our 2 dachshunds. We were so appreciative that this host allowed dogs. The location of the house and lot were great. No houses on either side or in front across the street. We would definitely go back! Communication with the host was easy. We only had one question and she responded quickly. Thank you to the hosts!

Honey’s Hideout
The property was exactly as advertised. It was a wonderful place for two couples. Plenty of room, clean and well stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Great little getaway
Place was exactly as advertised. Good sized, was bigger than I thought it was going to be. Super clean. Really cute. The bedrooms were good sized. Having 2 bathrooms and a wahser and dryer were great bonuses. Cupboards were well stocked with necessities to cook. We had a blast staying here. We definitely will be recommending it to all our friends and family.

Really good trip!
I've been a regular visitor to the area for many years. This was our first time at Honey's Hideaway. The house is very clean and it was obvious it had been planned out with TLC. We had 3 adults and each had a private bedroom. There was plenty of room and all the amenities we would possibly need. Didn't have any special requests of the management/owners, but did have contact pre-arriving and appreciated the professional/friendly communication. Hope to go back!!

One level up
This property is indeed, one level up, and I would definately stay here again. All of the electrical switches are labeled. This eliminates the frustration of finding the right switch for the right lights. Sounds simple, but it makes a big difference in this well lit property. Water pressure and temp. Want a hot shower? No problem! Quality bedding! Food preparation and cooking. You have plenty of quality cookware to make whatever you like. There are enough glasses, cups, plates for everyone. Accessible electrical outlets. In most cases, outlets are extended to tables and night stands for easy device charging. Covered parking for multiple vehicles.

Great location, plenty or space for boat/trailer parking.
We had a great weekend in the Hatch! Big open kitchen/dinning area. Plenty of blankets and pillows. Beds were comfortable. Big back porch. Had plenty of parking, and large yard area! Easy check in/out process. Could use a little better cleaning, but we came in after they had prepped for a big storm that they luckily dogged, so maybe the cleaning crew just didn't have enough time to get it ready. We did book last minute as it was a spur of the moment trip with the weather cleared. Definitely wouldn't keep me from renting again! We loved it, one of the better rentals in Steinhatchee! We have stayed in lots. ❤️

Great home
We had 6 adults and 2 pets. Plenty of room since there are screened porches upstairs and downstairs. Close to town...the home is located somewhat close to the main road which was tricky with pets. But if your pet is leashed then no problem...would definitely come back...kitchen was well stocked, very clean and beds were comfy..lots of room for boats, vehicles, and an RV..happy scalloper!😃

Birthday trip
We were celebrating my mother in law 80th birthday in Perry, Florida and stayed on this property. Our stay was a great experience, really enjoyed the house and it’s amenities. Would definitely stay here again in the future
