Communications poor

Instructions upon arrival were very poor. After check out, I realized I had left something in room, called Mountain Resorts immediatelyā€¦said theyā€™d get it, no problem room hadnā€™t been cleaned yet. Next day, I had to call, they said it wasnā€™t thereā€¦it was there but obviously communication between front desk and housekeeping was not followed thru as promised. Or, staff theft is a problem.

Perfect location

This property fit our needs perfectly. The condominium is right in the heart of town, so walking to dinner and shops was easy. The secure parking for our vehicle was very nice. The unit was clean and comfortable (although the very heavy lumpy bedspread should be swapped out for something lighter, especially during summer months). The unit is well stocked with cooking utensils, but if you plan on cooking, youā€™ll need to bring staples (spices & oils). Overall, we loved this property, and thank the owners for allowing us to use their lovely rental :)

Lovely visit

A very nice, upscale condo right downtown. Extremely well stocked kitchen, nice linens and deck. The only 'but' is we like to have windows open and the street facing unit is very noisy due to the traffic. We would gladly stay again in the building though not in a unit in the front!

Wonderful, place, a bit noisy with traffic on Lincoln avenue virtually all night. Big trucks gearing down, etc, I would take a device to secure the door from the inside as the maintenance men entered our room, and turned on the light while we were in the back bedroom watching tv, and didnā€™t hear the knocking.

Great location!

Itā€™s a great location! So close to great restaurants and little shops. The free express bus to the mountain was super reliable. Just remember to look at the schedule. Also, take and wait for the express bus. We also rented skis at the mountain through a concierge service/company. They kept our boots (which we brought) and the skis so all we needed to bring was our helmet, etc. Only piece that could have gone better was that I didnā€™t receive check in instructions until 4 hours before. I travel across country so showing up unprepared wasnā€™t ideal. Also it was clear I had to go to a different location to get keys. This was supper inconvenient since I didnā€™t rent a car. Luckily I had other friends in the trip that did so they carted me around. People were super nice tho!! Itā€™s more the process that really wasnā€™t great.

Fabulous location, great layout, would stay again!

Great summertime visit! Large for a one bedroom, well stocked kitchen (thanks for the coffee!), great outdoor spaces. Wished we had been able to check in/out closer to the property, but the folks were VERY nice.

Not worth the price

It was just ok, but for the money it should have been better. Unit looks a bit tired. A/C main vent was dirty. Unit had a temp dishwasher installed that leaked in the floor the first night. Traffic noise from Lincoln Ave was very loud and all night long. All and all it was nice staying downtown, but for the money the unit should have been first rate.

Great downtown Steamboat Springs property

We really enjoyed staying right in the heart of Steamboat Springs. We were walking distance to all the best restaurants and shops, which is what we wanted. We didnā€™t ski, but the property management company offered lift ticket discounts if you wanted. Plus, the ski area is only about a 5 minute drive away. The place was modern, the bed was comfortable, there were boardgames and movies - everything we needed. There was a bit of road noise because itā€™s right on Lincoln Ave, but it didnā€™t bother us. We would return to this unit if we do another Steamboat trip.

Beautiful spot, perfect location

The location of this condo in downtown Steamboat Springs is perfect for a ski vacation. Tons of walkable restaurants and shops, and then a quick (<10 minutes) drive to ski. Underground parking is a huge plus. Access to a ski locker at the gondola base area is also a huge plus. The condo itself is lovely and clean and a nice place to spend downtime. Would absolutely return!

Great location but lacking some basic items.

Great location and very clean. Property lacked basic items like kitchen tools (can opener, tongs, dated pans), cleaning items (dishwashing detergent, dishwasher tabs, counter cleaner), and spices and olive oil/Spray (salt and pepper and that was it), During our stay the automatic garage door was not working and the washing machine had a distinct odor (that existed last year as well forcing us to purchase washing machine cleaner).

Great condo in a perfect place BUT WATCH OUT!

The condo is better than pictured and was immaculate. When I booked in August for arrival in October it said that outside maintenance could impair views and use of patio but was expected to be completed by end of august. Didnā€™t worry as we were booking October. The week before we arrived I got a notice that it should be completed by early October. Hereā€™s the issue. The day we got there the drapes across the only windows were drawn because there were construction supplies on the balcony. Ok, we could still open drapes to get some light. It was Sunday afternoon. At 7:30 a.m were were woken by talking, hammering and chiseling on our patio. So much for vacation sleeping in. This continued all day. In the afternoon we were also treated to loud music. Went back to the office, told them what was happening, left manager an email. His response was that heā€™d do something to compensate us. Th had not happened nor have we heard from him again. While the condo is superior, the property management company is not even close to acceptable. I do not recworking with them!

This was a great, high end property right in the middle of it all. The heated garage parking was awesome. Well equipped condo and we really enjoyed having it as a home base while skiing.

Wonderful

This location is unbeatable if you enjoy or want to explore downtown Steamboat - no driving or parking necessary! The underground parking is such an awesome amenity. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed is king-sized and super comfy, and the bathtub was luxurious to sit in. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Probably best for just 2 people but the couch does fold out! Enjoy!
