Amazing house for a large group!
I have stayed at dozens of rentals and this one was the best by far. Tons of room for a large group and the managers were a dream to work with! Everyone loved the hot tub and sauna. Highly recommend.

Wonderful
Had 16 people and had plenty of space. LOVED all the games...pool, darts, ping pong. Nice fire pit. Kitchen very well stocked. Pretty views. Great having a bathroom for every bedroom!

Great space for groups
The property was spacious and there was a lot to do. We didn’t leave the property our whole stay. There was plenty of room for people. There are a few things that was hard for a big group. The water in the kitchen sink we could not get cold. It was only warm to hot and the warm water only came out as a slow drip. The heating element on the top oven didnt work. We were stuck with one oven for a pretty large group. The stove also didn’t work well. It was really challenging to cook for a large group at this property. Otherwise, our stay was great and we’d stay again but would plan for food differently unless appliances were serviced.

Better than the pictures!
My now husband and I found this VRBO to house our families/friends for our elopement weekend. We were looking for a house that would hold roughly 20 people, plus some small children. This was perfect- every single bedroom had a bathroom. The kitchen +chef's pantry gave us more than enough room for all of our groceries for a weekend. While we didn't elope at the house (neighbors obstruct views for photos), it was perfect for our after mini reception afterwards! Amazing property!!

2nd time for our stay at this wonderful house!
For the second year in a row, our large extended family used this house as our main hub. Everything was as good as we remembered it, and this year we found out it is well supplied for babies, too! Can’t recommend this house highly enough!

Refreshing and relaxing!
Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and relaxing. The home and the view were beautiful! It was fantastic with a great variety of amenities. We were so blessed and the checkout was so easy. Blake was so helpful!

Absolute dream home!
This place was nothing short of incredible! From the stunning view to the hot tub, sauna, perfectly organized kitchen and myriad entertainment options, it was perfect. A short drive to the slope and town (with uber service available), but it's so perfect we almost wanted to skip town altogether. And the beds!! Every room has en suite, good water pressure, and drop dead views. I can not wait to go back!

Great place
Awesome views and huge square footage. Plenty of room for our guest. They loved all the games (darts, pool, foosball, etc) and the huge TV to watch collage football. Very clean and spacious. We had a great time.

Best house we’ve had in Steamboat!
We have been coming to Steamboat for over 30 years, and our family has grown and lodging needs have changed. For the last few years we have needed about 10 BR, and have stayed at some of the double houses (can rent both sides of the house). This worked much better for us bc we don’t really need two kitchens, two dining rooms, etc. Instead, with this house we got one large common space with a pool table, darts, room for playing games, etc. And the view from that large living room is the best we have ever had. Even before we left, we booked the house for next year!

Great Home
I was a little hesitant with Retretia because of all the bad reviews and low star rating I saw. BUT, after reading through them, I realized 99.9% of them were over people not getting refunds due to the pandemic. While I certainly understand that frustration, they were beyond crystal clear when we rented that there wouldn't be refunds issued for that, or weather, or whatever and recommended multiple times that I buy trip insurance. So I think most of these negative reviews are pretty unfair and unreasonable. We pulled the trigger and rented through them. What I can say is that during the entire stay, they were incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful. They addressed issues promptly. We had a broken hot tub during the majority of our stay, which was frustrating. But, that isn't their fault. They sent the repair folks out same day or next. They struggled to get it going, but again, I can't really fault Retretia for that. We've rented a ton of VRBO's. And there are usually some small issues with them. This was definitely the best experience I've had with a rental company thus far though as far as responsiveness. I can't speak for negative reviews about the quality of any particular rental. I guess I would say to look at those reviews separately. We stayed at Sky Valley Lodge, and it was very very nice. Spacious. Easily accommodated our very large party. Had more than ample parking. Beautiful views. It was clean. The decor was great. Easy access to town.

Incredible mountain getaway for large groups
Beautiful and comfortable property perfect for large groups. Our group of 15 enjoyed our stay and had more than enough beds and common area to stay comfortable and accommodate our huge group. Bathrooms with each bedroom are a rare find. The main area has incredible mountain/town views and tons of natural light. Bring your dogs here they will love it
