I was very unhappy with my stay. There was a major elevator problem the first 2 days there. There was only 1 operating elevator that was taking guest to the lobby. It was usually a minimum of a 20-30 minute ordeal. Some of our group was late for their tee time. They couldn’t wait on the elevator anymore then non of the stairwells gave access to the ground floor. An incredibly DANGEROUS situation, heaven forbid there was an emergency. When tracking down staff on different floors, they told us “ we don’t know how to get outside from the stairs” that took us over an hour to get out of the hotel. At that point some of the group no longer was able to golf because the group was late! When I approached the front desk it was blown off as if it wasn’t Bally’s responsibility that the elevators weren’t operating properly. The next day my room was completely out of toilet paper. After 3 phone calls to front desk, housekeeping, and trip down to the lobby to talk in person, we finally received some after (with elevators that weren’t operating properly) 90 minutes! I was very unhappy with my stay and will be staying at another hotel for my next trip to Stateline.
