"I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. "Our multi-generational family absolutely loved our stay at Fell End. The house was decorated for Xmas and is beautiful throughout. The facilities including movie room, hot tub, table football, table tennis were awesome. The house is homely, warm throughout and stylishly and comfortably furnished! Great value!!"

"Keswick Reach was a lovely place to stay and very secluded... too secluded for us. Our car broke down on day 3 of a 5 day stay. We were left solely dependent on what little food we had, what the shop sold and what the restaurant served. We found the shop lacked items like bacon, sausages, bread, etc but had a lot of sweets and crisps. It is far from other shops so we expected more. My dad can't have cheese as it sets his heart out of rhythm, so he could only have garlic bread when it was pizza...

"I had a great stay,I booked the unit a day before my arrival and once booked I received all the check in info immediately, no key was needed all acess is through a keypad system which is nice.The unit was very spacious and cozy,I really liked the kitchen set-up,Carlisle is a wonderful city and fun to explore and the apartment was only a 5 minute walk to the train station."

"We had a wonderful 5-night stay at the cottage over New Year. It is small and cosy and set in a small village overlooking fields and hills. The sunrise in the morning is beautiful.
