"Hotel is fantastic, great setting & the staff are always very helpful."
" This is a wonderful B&B tucked away in the Northamptonshire village of Brigstock. We stayed in The Willow room for 2 nights. The room has a super comfy king size bed, with that home from home feeling. The roll top bath and walk in shower was a pleasant surprise! Sam was the most gracious host, her attention to detail, super breakfast choices, and cookie treats in our room.
We will most definitely be back to Swallows Rest on our next UK visit, and have no hesitation in recommending a stay here."
"Perfect for our one night stop-over enroute to another venue. It's quite a big, old building with some quirky features but we had everything needed in our room which was well presented. Staff were personable. Breakfast was good. The hotel sits on a one-way road system. It's compact car park is to the rear of the property. If you miss the hotel car park sign on approach and pass the hotel on your left, follow the one-way clockwise, turning left just before the hotel. "
"We've had a wonderful two night stay, in an ample sized room for two people, which was clean and well supplied with the essentials. Comfortable bed with a choice of pillows, additional chairs and space to work or nake snacks. Very helpful, friendly staff who try accommodate all requests and queries. Very ample food options for breakfast and veggie options on request for hot food. Flexible options if you need food to go too. Despite being near the dual carrage way it was quiet. "A warm welcome and clear communication. Very helpful friendly family run hotel. The hotel looks like it is slowly beind developed, so a bit dated in areas but clean, comfortable with easy parking. I had their chicken curry for dinner, really tasty. A great stay, I will definitely use again and llok forward to watch the transformation. "
"Regular visitor. Always clean, friendly staff, lovely rooms and great food. Only minor criticism would be that there is typically only one staff member on breakfast/check-out which can mean a few minutes waiting, but other than that, an excellent place to stay !"
