Autumn Ridge is located "up Tanner's Ridge" as the locals say. Secluded enough to give you the private getaway you're craving, but with all the comforts of home (and a hot tub!) Pet friendly! Even Spot can come and enjoy! Make sure to stop on your way up at some of the scenic overlooks and take ALL the pictures- you'll see some of the beautiful views from the road up in the cabin pictures.

Notes about Autumn Ridge to consider:

No wifi- completely unplug and relax here!

The base rate includes 4 people. Additional guests are extra, please read the itemized charges carefully. Thank you!

PLEASE NOTE for November- March bookings: During these winter months, we strongly advise that a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is required. While there are plenty of dry weekends during those months when a regular vehicle would be fine, you cannot know that in advance. Please take this warning seriously for those months. For the rest of the year, regular 2wd vehicles are fine.

Dogs are welcome! There is a limit of 2, with a pet fee of $50 per. Unfortunately, we can't accept cats. Sorry about that!

Check-in is 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 am. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, ask us!

There is no trash service in the area, so we ask you to please take your trash with you. There are instructions in the cabin telling you where to go to take it so you donā€™t have to take it all the way home! Alternatively, the house manager can take them for a tip of $5 per bag.

Relaxing getaway
A beautiful, quiet location and a cozy home that's a great place to relax. This was our second visit and it's one of our favorite places to stay. Very clean, well-maintained and very comfortable.

Cute little cabin
Cute, small cabin. Smelled a little musty due to high humidity, but overall it was comfortable. Plenty of hot water, but the pressure could have been better. The screened in porch was beautiful! FYI: Itā€™s about a 25-30 minute to drive to closest entrance to Shenandoah. Overall, we had a great stay!

Mountain Trip
Wonderful, very relaxing stay, the hot tub was on point, we did get turned around going into town, and forgot our directions at the cabin, didn't realize no gps until we left the cabin, a little map of the side roads would be wonderful, but we figured it out..... great stay, thank you for the dish detergent and the paper towels, everything we needed was there!!!! Great time!!!!!!

A cozy secluded cabin close to Shenandoah
My boyfriend and I stayed at Autumn Ridge for our Anniversary. We loved that this cabin feels secluded but is close to nearby attractions. We went during peak fall colors and we enjoyed sitting on the back deck drinking our morning coffee and relaxing in the hot tub in the evening/night time. The inside of the cabin is cozy and equipped with everything you need to be comfortable.

Beautiful area and property, the house was clean and tidy and very cozy. The hot tub was great to have after a long day of exploring the towns. The house manager Laura was awesome and very friendly. We will definitely be back next year!

Beautiful cabin but..
The location is in the woods and the cabin is beautiful along with the hot tub. Itā€™s in the town of Stanley which is 10 mins drive from Luray - the main area with restaurants and grocery stores. We did not find the cabin clean enough when we reached. There was chewing gum on the head of the bed and the bottom of bath tub was greyish in color. We informed the management and the house manager removed the gum but the bathtub was still dirty and we told her that it needs cleaning with a scrubber. Anyway, we still were okay and were planning to stay another day until we noticed some rumbling coming out of living room. We were quite scared as this location is very secluded. Upon checking we found it was a rat who was enjoying pizza crumbs in the trash (under the kitchen counter). We left the next day. The property management needs to do a good job of cleaning. I donā€™t think we are going to stay here again.

Total Relaxation
We planned a 3 night get-away to relax and enjoy the mountain area. Thus location was exactly what we had hoped for. The cabin was clean, neat and nicely decorated. It was well supplied and had very nice amenities. Sitting on the screened deck was very relaxing and the hot tub was excellent. We hope to return next year.

Overall A Nice Cabin
Our trip was a girls weekend and when we first arrived , or so we thought we arrived at some maintenance gate that was actually 45 minutes from the correct entrance but other than that the hot tub was disappointing as it was set on 105 degrees and we werenā€™t able to use it during our stay. It was so hot it literally burnt our skin when we went to get in. The house was nice and cozy and a beautiful location and overall it as a nice stay other than those two issues.

Great Getaway
Spent four days here celebrating a birthday. Directions were clear, the cabin was clean and well-organzied, and the location was convenient yet private. Cold weather with ice kept us housebound for a day but that just meant more time to warm things up with the electric fireplace, board games and drinks. Keep in mind that you'll likely not have any phone service and the wifi is spotty. We usually had to leave the cabin to obtain access to our texts, voicemails, and anything else requiring wifi.

The perfect place to spend a cold rainy weekend
First of all...the hot tub was incredible. It got extremely hot and the lights on the deck and gazebo covering was excellent in the hurricane Ian rain. The mountains were lovely in the fog and the cabin was warm, cozy and adorable. We love the mural! The online pictures are not longer accurate as many things have been updated since including the electric fireplace, couches (and the mural) Heads up If anyone lost puzzle pieces in a precious stay, they are down in the vent in the living room floor:) yes the kitchen light is still broken and the oven door doesn't fully close but really who cares? We had a great time! My friends brought Cornhole for the screen porch and there was already a set available on site. There were extra blankets, towels and ever we needed. A+ would rent again.

Back to Autumn Ridge
The first time my husband and I visited Autumn Ridge, we immediately fell in love with the property and cabin. This little jewel of a cabin is everything a mountain cabin should be! We brought a friend along with us this time and the house was still cozy and spacious enough for the three of us. We enjoyed the fire pit and cooked on the new fire pit top grill (great addition to the outdoor cooking set up!) We had nice, cool nights for the hot tub and star gazing. We, of course visited some local gems such as: The Hawksbill Luray Greenway (a scenic 3.3 mile loop trail in downtown Luray). We went to the Hawksbill Brewing Company, Shenandoah for some decent hiking and finally we followed some of the Shenandoah Brewery Trail in Harrisonburg. It was a lovely long weekend with a perfect home base!
