"We had a wonderful time in Nelson. The house was great for us as a family and we greatly enjoyed taking our Labrador to Back Beach most days. Owner Mike was wonderful - welcoming and so knowledgeable about perfect places to take both the Grandkids and the dog. Property views are wonderful however would suggest since it is on a hill, a car is essential. "

"We enjoyed the convenience and garden setting at Daphne’s place. She was very attentive to our needs. I especially liked having my morning coffee in the little outside area watching the birds. As others have noted it’s a quick walk to the neighborhood pub and close to shopping. "

"Our family stopped at this place for couple nights. We liked it overall - it is very new apartment with everything you might need. Hosts are great.Several things to keep in mind:- there are steep stairs for one of the beds;- other stairs are hard metal, so slippers are recommended;- couch in the living room can accommodate one kid sleeping."

After 20 Days traveling around South Island, i returned tô this hotel in Nelson to stay one night and they gave us one cottage where the carpet smells so bad, humid and wet! The hotel was full and we needed to stay there! Take care and check your room asap! "
