"We hosted a reunion for our extended family this past weekend. The first floor was open enough that we could all be connected. The football fans took over one room, the basketball fans had the other, and the rest of us gathered to laugh and chat around the table. We even sang songs around the fire one night. The location was close to everything we wanted to visit. Definitely enjoyed our stay. "

"Awesome cabin tucked away from the world. Fun woods to explore all around. Comfortable beds with all the linens; clean bathroom with towels; everything is there that you'd need in the kitchen...pots, pans, silverware, measuring spoons and cup, a can opener, baking dishes, etc. Just know there's no dishwasher or microwave. Driveway is tricky for about the first 30 feet or so especially after it's rained. After that it's a gravel driveway that's a fun ride to the cabin. I'd absolutely stay here...

"This property had a lot of great amenities, but some things could have been better. I booked for a training retreat and the wi-fi was not strong enough to actually hold the training sessions (the whole reason I booked the site) and there were minor issues, but the property owner made sure it was addressed quickly. We had a wonderful time, but the lack of a strong wi-fi would likely keep me from booking again. "

"The lodge was conveniently located not far from our daughter’s wedding venue and housed the bride and groom’s family as well as the bridal party nicely. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. It was a great place to hold the rehearsal dinner and the after party following the reception. "

"Overall, the cabin is just a 10, just as described. It is beautifully decorated and comfortable. The grounds were well kept and everything was in good working order. There is a really great fire pit area that is a little walk down a small hill which was great for privacy. The hot tub was a relaxing break. We really did LOVE it and had an amazing time. The only reason I gave a 4 for the overall rating was that about 2 hrs into the stay some folks showed up to cut the grass and care for the...

"Sweet cottage for the weekend in the Laurel Highlands. Very clean, well kept cottage met our needs for the weekend. The host was attentive and helpful during our stay and supplied LOTS of information for the area! We came to see Frank Lyod Wright's Fallingwater, stopping along the way at the Flight 93 Memorial. Beutiful area, wineries, cute shops, lovely parks. Thank you Lisa!"

"The house was very clean. There is lots to do. There is darts and foosball, the hot tub and the big soaking tub. My family used everything there and had a great time. The host is super nice and answers questions asap! Would definitely stay here again. There are very close neighbors but no one was renting their other cabin while we were there. We were able to bring our dog along too which was great!"

"My family of 4, plus my parents and brother spent a weekend at the house and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is enormous and the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek in the many rooms. The kitchen is expansive and there's plenty of room for lots of cooks to all be doing their own projects. We enjoyed the hot tub and fire ring at night. The parking is a little tricky if you have more than a couple vehicles. There's a gravel loop to turn your car around but it's a little steep. If you...

"The cabin was super inviting. It had a true charming country feel inside and out! The hot tub was the cherry on the top! We were able to have our pup with us and there were dog dishes there! There are other cabins in the area . There is more then enough space. There was a trail right into the state park.The property owerss stopped by to make sure everything met our needs and were super nice! Just a great little get away Thanks it was much needed!"

"The property is in a beautiful secluded setting near Forbes State Forest. Beware if GPS tries to take you in on Laurel Tunnel Road off of route 31, all dirt road and very confusing; instead take Short School Road off route 31. The cottage was cozy and the gas fireplace kept the place warm. The hot tub was nice. The toilet occassionally needed the plunger to flush out. "The property itself was clean and in good working order. Check in was easy. Ample linens, silverware, cleaning supplies and dried wood available onsite. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the bunk beds, loft area, outdoor rocking chairs and fire pit. There’s no freezer, oven, or formal dining area. The one coffee table needs replaced. "This well cared for rustic setting is very convenient to several of our family connections. We appreciate the welcoming owner (congratulations for 20yrs in business) and appreciate the courteous staff. Onsite dining and bar were great to have especially after driving 5 hours in snow and fog. Guests should not expect a 5 star major city hotel. This is an excellent rustic setting, clean, and cost effective for travel through this area. Thank you. "
