Emmons Realty is quite excited to add this home to our rental pool. Redfern Village is right across the street with several local shops and restaurants including a local favorite Southern Soul BBQ, which was featured on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives and is a 3-minute walk from the home. The charming coastal tabby cottage with blue shutters sits on 222 Circle Drive, conveniently located near Frederica and Demere Road. We are 1.8 miles from the beach and 2.5 miles from the Village and Pier.

This tastefully remodeled home is ready to accommodate those looking for a quiet escape to the beach. With eight stairs leading up to the one-story bungalow, as you walk in you will find the master bedroom to your left with a king bed, two spacious closets with a luggage rack, and a 55” flat screen TV. The master bathroom is equipped with a double vanity and a tub/shower combo.

To your right of the hallway entrance is a well-appointed kitchen with stainless steel appliances including a Cuisinart and Keurig coffee maker and a dining table for four. Attached is an oversized laundry room with an additional refrigerator and a butler's pantry. Walking through the kitchen you will enter the rear living room with a 55” flat screen TV, a comfortable 3 seater sofa, and an armchair.

As you walk through the living area, to the left of it lies the second bedroom situated with a full-sized bed, closet with a luggage rack, and a 55” flat-screen TV. There is a guest bath between the master bedroom and the guest room with a step-in shower.

Off the living area, there is a flex room leading out to the back deck equipped with a queen size pull-out couch. This will be the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. Below the large deck lies an oversized fenced backyard offering plenty of space for entertaining, lounging, and for the kids to play, and a charcoal and gas grill.

Parking is available for 3 cars in the front of the home with additional room for a golf cart. The house is a 7-minute car ride and 12-minute bike ride to the closest public beach entrance and the Village and Pier.

A 220-volt, 50-amp receptacle is available for Electric Vehicle Charging. There is a $10 fee per day of your stay if you intend to use the charger. Monthly discounts are available. You will need your own adapter cable.


Every one of our properties is furnished with a “starter kit” of supplies so that you don't have to run to the store at the start of your vacation.

Cancellation Policy:
60+ days from arrival - 100% refund
31-60 days from arrival - 50% refund
0-30 days from arrival – 0% refund

Inside of 60 days, reservations cannot be rescheduled for any reason

Cancellations will be charged a $65 cancellation fee
(without exception, even for same-day cancellations)

To protect your vacation investment and avoid deposits lost to cancellation, Emmons Realty strongly recommends the purchase of Travel Insurance.


Deposit Policy:
$500 will be charged to your card at the time of reservation, a deposit which will be applied directly to your rental cost. The remainder will be charged automatically, 30 days prior to your arrival. If you’ve contacted us through Homeaway or VRBO, you will be responsible for their additional fees. Our online calendar is updated automatically, and all quotes are accurate and include all fees. No refunds will be granted for early departure.

Pet Policy: Properties designated as pet-friendly require a $99 non-refundable pet fee. Only dogs are accepted. Cats are not allowed. Emmons Realty accepts a maximum of 2 dogs, with a maximum weight of 65lbs per dog. Dogs must be at least 1 year old. We cannot allow pit bulls. No exceptions will be made for any part of this policy.

Was okay but disappointing start
This house is cute and the location was fine but we were greeted by large, dark stains on the bedroom carpet.. clearly an animal had major issues in there. I was told it was cleaned but I can't imagine it was done professionally to still look so bad. I did contact them about it and was told it was cleaned but they'd come out again if I'd like - by then we'd bought towels from the dollar store and just threw them over the areas. The next day I found my dog licking a dried area off the kitchen floor.. when I wiped it, it looked like something that could have been left by an animal. I called the property manager and was told she'd contact the owner - I didn't hear back until the next day, so had already purchased cleaning supplies when they again offered to have someone come and clean it. Hopefully they've replaced the carpet with hardwoods or new carpet by now. The neighborhood is fine and we had a nice stay but the issue of cleanliness definitely put an early damper on the visit.

Beautiful House
It was a girlfriend’s week, first time we stayed near the Red Fern Village. Walking distance to shopping and dining. The house was modeled wonderfully for two girls to each have their own rooms. The back stairs need some lighting. That was the only issue we had. Thank you for a lovely Stay

The location was good. Close to most things of interest. Older neighborhood but nice and quiet. The house has mostly been renovated. Definitely need more time spent on the bathrooms. Nice living room and back porch area. Always enjoy SSI

Great location. Well equipped.
Quiet neighborhood except for an occasional plane overhead. So many more amenities and supplies than we expected. Lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance. EV charging connection. Note: 220v 50 amp receptacle. You will need your own adapter cable.

Last minute booking
We had plans change 24 hours before arriving at SSI, we scrambled to find a place to stay and found this one. This was one of the best vacation rentals we have ever experienced! Lots of room, nicely appointed, clean and comfortable. Walk to coffee, bakery, restaurants and shopping. We'll rent it again.

Beautifully-decorated and updated!
The house if very efficiently designed to maximize space. The neighborhood is good for walking, and it is conveniently located within an easy drive to East Beach, the Village, grocery stores, restaurants, and Jekyll Island. The only issue some visitors might have is that the house is in the flight path for the small airport on St. Simons, which means we heard planes flying low overhead as they were taking off and landing. This didn't bother us. In fact, if you like planes, it could be quite entertaining.

Easter Weekend
The house was so much more beautiful on the inside than the outside. It was comfortable and well decorated with all of the amenities that you needed. The management was easy to work with and quick to get back with you if there was a problem...even on a holiday weekend.
