When we arrived, we immediately noticed an issue with the lights. There are 2 dining areas, one is open and the other has the table. The lights turn on, flicker, and then ultimately go dim. They would randomly flash every little while but were useless, so we kept them off. No overhead light in the living space, only a lamp. Therefore, the main areas of the house were extremely dark once the sun started going down. We couldn’t see to eat our dinner and definitely couldn’t play games, etc. We called maintenance and he came out a day later. He (Dan, I think is his name) said that theres definitely an issue, but that he can’t fix it during our stay bc it requires an electrician. We also asked him to help us turn on the pool light so we could see out there at night and he couldn’t find it. There was a switch that’s potentially for the pool light, but it didn’t work either. Perhaps the electrical along that entire side of the house needs work? In the en suite bedroom, the door to the bathroom wouldn’t shut, allowing the people staying in that room no privacy when using the restroom. Overall, we loved the view and had a decent trip, but feel that we paid for much more than we received with the house. Bruce was very responsive leading up to the trip but hasn’t responded to my messages over the last 2 weeks since leaving. I also called the company and left a message. Someone called me back from that last week and he’d call back within a day, but I still haven’t heard a thing.
