"Our Anniversary trip with our two dogs was so relaxing and just what we were needing. With our trip falling just after Halloween, it was so fun sit in front of the fireplace in the cozy cabin and watch a scary movie! We were able to cook up a yummy dinner as well! The area is beautiful and close to everything! Thanks for the great stay! "

"Our stay at this recently updated historical home in PdC was very enjoyable! This home was conveniently located to the activities we did, and you can walk to many places. Communication from the owner was also fabulous. We choose VRBO over hotels for the extra space and privacy, and this historic home did not disappoint."

"We had 11 people from ages 44-3 stay here for 3 days. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the lovely house that was well supplied with all we needed. We made all our meals at the house and found the kitchen well stocked. The beds were comfy and the bathrooms had plenty of clean towels. "

"Would have been helpful to have a manual on how to operate the ac system, the whirlpool tub, Wolf range. The refrigerator had not been cleaned. Had a Murder mystery dinner and the Inn was part of the setting. People in town were friendly with the exception of the brewery. It was handy to have restaurants menus available to review. "We had a great time unplugging in this cozy cabin with beautiful views. The boys had fun kayaking and I enjoyed taking walks around the pond. "

"Unfortunately, the weather turned cold the day we arrived, and was cold for the duration of our stay, so we were unable to use the nice deck area. In warmer weather, it would have been a great place to hang out. The beds were comfortable, and it was adequately heated. We did some fishing off the dock, and caught a nice bass. "

"Great location for exploring the area or just relaxing and watching the river and trains go by. Cabin is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could need."

"The property was niclely set up and quiet while we were there. Yard and porches are great along with the fire pit lighting to enjoy a nice night. There is boat landings down the road and the fishing was great. 10 miles down the river from lock 9. We pulled alot pf fish. 😁"

"We just got away from the city and enjoyed our stay at the cabin. We enjoyed star gazing and cabin was secluded with it still being close to town. Great family time and relaxing."

"We enjoyed the property and all the outdoor activities, the water was beautiful and a perfect temperature. Our twin 4 year olds loved the loft area and jetted tub in the bathroom. "

"We loved our stay! We got holed up with the heat for a few days.. but thank goodness for that game room!!! The only reason I gave one less star on location is that the property is right on the road, and the gameroom is across that road, although the traffic is not bad at all as far as amount of traffic :) - Everything was very clean, and it was so nice to be able to bring our dogs! The host was incredibly responsive- Wyalusing park up the road approximately 9 miles is such a treat as well-...

"Nice place near the river with plenty of places nearby to walk too for lunch or dinner. Room was comfortable and spacious almost felt like home with all the decor. Wife would love it but this was a business trip. Breakfast was great and you have a nice view to look out while you ate or just enjoy a cup of coffee. "
