"The place is good, and we had a good time in the area. The place is not right on the beach--it is about a 200 meter walk through the woods. The house is pretty remote, which can be a good thing, but every place we wanted to visit is at least an hour drive away. We did a lot of driving and spent a lot on gas. We wish we had stayed in Baddeck."

"Ce fut un très beau séjour dans ce magnifique chalet. Très propre et les lits sont très confortable s. Par contre, pour aller visiter plusieurs endroits de la région, nous avons trouvé le trajet en voiture un peu long pour rejoindre la route principale surtout lorsque nous revenions en soirée! "

"A very nice property. Four couples stayed there a night while on a motorcycle tour of Nova Scotia. One of the bedrooms didn’t have access to a bathroom so it was more of a 3br house rather than 4br. Spacious with many amenities but there were numerous sticky notes around informing us of things that didn’t work or shouldn’t be used. The access road was gravel and not motorcycle friendly."

"We checked in Friday afternoon went out Saturday morning got back Saturday night to find out there was no water the pump went in the well I called the owner Sunday morning and told him about it he apologized many times he also refunded half my money back within a few minutes the care taker had a couple of big jugs of water for me so I was able to stay until Monday morning it’s a nice place and if i had to rate the owner I would give him a 10 out of 10"

"The location of this property was spectacular. We were able to walk the beach just steps from the door. The house was very comfortable. There was an adequate supply of bottled water to overcome the piped water which smelled off. We loved our stay. "

"Absolutely perfect. The host is amazing, Alex checked in on us a few times and respected our privacy. The hosts have thought of absolutely everything, nothing missing. The property is beautiful. Just pack your suitcase, groceries and alcohol and you are all set. Thanks again for sharing this beautiful spot with us"

"The home was very clean and has beautiful views from every window. Especially the large front windows overlooking the lake. The deck is large and has plenty of room to enjoy meals and coffee in the morning with panoramic lake views and passing sail boats. And at night the whole family enjoyed looking at the stars including shooting stars."

"Nice log cottage sitting on Diana Mountain with a nice view of Bras d’Or Lake. The night skys are fantastic. The cottage is secluded. It is about a 35 minute drive to the nearest store of any kind so if you want to get away from everything it is perfect. Stock up before you go. The cottage has high speed internet and good cell phone reception to keep you in touch with the outside world. If you are planning on taking in a lot of the sights of Cape Breton Island then plan on a lot of driving."

"I’ll start this review by saying that we’ve stayed at plenty of cottages. This one was by FAR our favourite. The inside feels brand new (although the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay but we didn’t mind we had so many activities) and the outside is a DREAM. Right on the most beautiful lake, with kayaks and a floating pad for swimming and relaxing. The property and the.lake house were so clean and well stocked. We could not have asked for a better place to stay. We will be coming back! "

"The host was exceptionally communicative prior to arrival giving very clear instructions on how to find their place. When we met them, they were very kind and considerate hosts offering additional help if it was needed. The setting is wonderful, quiet, serene, and offered a perfect night rest after a full day of motorcycling. Thank you for being great hosts on our 3 day motorcycling journey!"
