"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"This was our first time staying here and it certainly won't be our last. The shepherd's hut is beautifully decorated and has such a cosy and comfortable feel to it. The under floor heating kept it lovely and warm too despite the snow outside (which also made it super pretty). The outside space was so private and had a fantastic view over the fields and to the hills beyond. Our favourite thing was sitting out at night by the fire pit and relaxing, looking up at the stars. We were also free to...

"Great location in the middle of the countryside. Perfect for one or two adults (3-4 might be a squeeze but you'd be fine with little ones). Heather, the host was great, and provided pro-active communication. Wood fired hot-tub was a novelty but worked great. Would highly recommend."

"Lovely little cabin in the owners grounds, right next to the river. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then it’s perfect, Oswestry is only 15 minutes drive away. Cabin has everything we needed for the 2 nights we stayed. Very easy self check in/out good communication with the owners."

"Booked last minute for a half term hike up Snowden. This was the perfect place to discover Snowdon and surrounding areas! The place had a unique "off grid" twist which we just loved. The weather worked in our favour so the whole short break was truly amazing. Myself, partner, daughter and dog highly recommend! Full use of the kitchen facilities as well, all private to your needs were really great!"
