Good Value for the Price
I stayed there with 6 other people that were coming to my wedding. The property looked exactly as the photos. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen could use more cooking supplies, baking supplies. All of the appliances were top notch. The backyard was really pretty and the hot tub was relaxing. The negative aspect is that we did not have gas for cooking or taking hot showers for 24 hours. The host was responsive and worked hard to get a handy man there. He offered a discount to me for the trouble but has not delivered on his word. When we got in the hot tub, the water was just below the top jet, when we got out, it was below the lowest jet towards the setting lumbar location. We told the host but there was no communication regarding this. Also the neighbors on the left facing the house have a German shepherd that they allow to bark for hours early in the morning. One time on the way to get out of the car, the dog was running loose and circling our car. The owner couldn’t get control of the dog so we had to drive away. Overall, it was a great place to house people instead of staying separately in hotel rooms.
