"This quaint cottage was absolutely wonderful to stay in. It was very clean and it was the perfect amount of room for our family of 5. We came back for the night after dark and had a hard time seeing the driveway! Maybe add some lights to line the driveway so it isn’t dangerous turning off the main road. Highly recommend staying here though! We had a great experience. "

"I stayed at this VRBO for 2 days. I was a little nervous as I was traveling alone for work. The owner made me feel so comfortable and I felt very safe. The cottage itself was very cosy. The bed was incredibly comfortable and there is a smart TV in the livingroom that you can sign in to your streaming services. If I end up in St. James again I will absolutely be staying here."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the farmhouse! It was tucked away which was perfect for us. We made some great family memories sitting around the table, playing cards and games. And the fire pit out back was perfect for roasting marshmallows after a day of exploring the area. We will definitely be back!"

"The cabin it’s nice and we have a good time, but the shower water was cold but I didn’t bother me because it’s summer, but they should to put attention on that. There is just one bed (exactly how show in the pictures)so if came more than 2 people needs pack a inflable bed or sleep on the cauch bring your own pans and toaster. "Very remote feeling but only 5 miles from town. This place is a little gem, with all the amenities and then some to make sure you feel right at home. We appreciated having somewhere close to our kids to be able to have a holiday dinner with. The sound of the river while outside was so peaceful. And we walked down to it to skip rocks. "We were looking for a space to just get away and spend time together. This met that need. The hot tub was the selling point for us. However, we didn’t do research on what a mineral hot tub is and it had a smell so we didn’t use it. That’s our fault. The location does allow for pets and there was a bit more hair in the kitchen than anticipated. Otherwise, great little get away. Thank you for having us!"
