"We had a great stay at The Sandbar over Christmas and NYE! Perfect for our extended family group, walking distance to the lake, large backyard for the kids to play soccer & backyard cricket. House was clean and as described, beds comfy! Garage is stocked with various backyard games and bikes for guests to use. Mar & Dars cafe down the road is great for a coffee. Host was very responsive, we had a small issue with one of the fridges not working and it was replaced promptly, despite public holiday...

"Good value, quiet location - 5 minute drive to beaches. Secure yard for dogs. The hosts provide linen for beds but towels aren't included (just so you pack both bath and beach towels if choosing to stay here). We would recommend dining at the swordfish cafe and avoiding dining at the bowls club. "

"House was a good size for what we required. Plenty of space to relax. Pool was good once we cleaned it. It was pretty dirty. We were unable to use the grass area as the grass was overgrown and needed mowing. Overall cleanliness was ok. Just the ovens and bbq needed a really thorough clean. Main issue was the damp smell of the lower ground floor. Carpet may have been wet and not dried??"

"The property is spacious. Most of the areas we believe is newly renovated, one toilet is not completely done though. Only one air conditioner in the living room was a problem in hot summer night for us. While we kept receiving emails reminding me to put the rubbish bin to the kerb on Thursday night, there wasn’t enough garbage bags in the kitchen which really troubled us as we had to go shopping for this.
