"Perfect property for 9 adults and 1 dog! Very clean and well stocked kitchen which was large, with an even larger lounge with log burner. More than enough space for us all to get cosy, play games and see the new year in.Location is beautiful but to note, 20-25 mins from the nearest shop. The pier cafe is great for a drink, coffee or food though, and the drive is worth it for the surrounding views of Loch Katrine. "Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The host couldnt have done more to make us feel welcome with lots of extra special touches. She left oatcskes, local cheese and butter, homemade jam and shortcake, ive never stayed anywhere like it for thoughtfulness. Superb, will definitely return."

"Blinkbonnie cottage has been the perfect little base of operations for our day trips into various parts of Scotland. The location is peaceful and out of the way but central enough to get to pretty much anywhere in the highlands in an hour or two by car. On top of that, our hosts were beyond helpful with answering questions and requests even before we arrived at this great little gem of a place."

"The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice! Word of warning: careful with the upstairs windows as flies like to congregate on them!"

"A lovely property which is well situated. It had everything we needed. Unfortunately there is a lot of noise transfer from the apartment above. When I tried to contact the owner it took 4 days to get an answer, despite me using the numbers provided. Overall we enjoyed our stay but would definitely stay in the top apartment next time."

"I booked a hot tub weekend away for my husband and I to the Steadings and what a beautifully clean and comfortable cottage it was. The owners met us as we drove to the cottage to show us around. They had also left us a welcome pack which included a bottle of Prosecco, that was a lovely extra. We made full use of the log burner as it wasn’t the best of weather when we were there. "Would recommend staying here. The house was fabulous and a well equipped kitchen etc. and the rooms were very nice. Beds were comfy.
