Historic Downtown Bungalow *Walk To Everything!*

5 MINUTE WALK TO THE NIGHTS OF LIGHTS!!! Newly renovated St. Augustine bungalow that is close to everything downtown! Our very modern beachy furnishings will be the perfect place for you to relax and unwind. Walk to the shops, restaurants, castle, and everything else St. Augustine has to offer when you’re ready to explore. Lots of houses say they are walkable here, but we really are, with an 84 walkability score! Our place has plenty of private off-street parking with a gate for extra privacy. Play cornhole or grill in our huge backyard with a nice fire pit, surrounded by oak and palm trees. Drink coffee from our stocked Keurig, or have a craft beer in the new brewery across the street. There is a free community pool/park a few blocks away for cooling off or entertaining the kids, and we also have a Pack n Play at the house. We are also located on the historic Freedom Trail. Amazing location in one of the nations best cities!

Quaint and close to everything!
The house was in a perfect spot. We walked to almost everything. The backyard was fenced completely so we didnt have to worry about our fur kids. The neighborhood is 'up and coming' and we never felt in danger. The house was equipped with everything we needed and we will def love to stay here again! kids.

Convenient location
Convenient location. Walking distance to all the restaurants and shops! As soon as you walk in the house, you were greeted with a musty old smell. Although the backyard was big for our dog, we kept her on a leash because there were dog presents left by other guest. Yes, there’s homeless people around, but that did not bother us. We felt safe for the 2 nights we stayed. Plenty of room for our family of 4. I just wished the yard and patio area was in better condition and the house did not have a musty old smell.

Perfect!
This property was perfect for our weekend trip to St. Augustine! Excellent location, big yard for the dogs to use. It had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again.

Close to everything!
The property was clean and conveniently located, for sure. Gate was not functioning, so a little disappointing there. A couple of the folks staying at the shelter across the street got into a shouting match on Monday morning, which was rather uncomfortable. However, the location couldn't have been much better and Aaron was very kind in letting us keep our vehicles on the property after check out, so we could go have breakfast before departing for home.

Excellent location
Loved the location, the backyard is amazing! Actual street has a lot of homeless folks, literally beside and in front of house. However, as other people stated, it was not an issue. Just something to be aware of. It was 5 min walk to a Main Street full of food, coffee, bars. Loved the location to the city! The host was wonderful with communication!

At. Augustine Easter weekend...
We spent 4 days at the St. Augustine bungalow for Easter weekend. The property was very clean. The fenced in back yard was perfect for our dog Roxie to be able to let her out unsupervised after making sure she could not get out and was a nice place to relax outside. All the appliances worked great including the small stacked washer and dryer. Everyone loved the Keurig with the complimentary French Roast coffee, it was a perfect start for the day. The property is located at the at the southern most end of the historic district so it's very quiet. There were some homeless people that were located at a facility across the street, but we were never bothered by them even when walking to and from the property. Overall a very nice stay, I would choose this property again for a future stay. We love the area...

Just a quick 4-5 minute walk to St. George Street
Loved this cottage feel house that is only a few minutes walk to downtown! Perfect back deck with a fenced in large back yard that would be great for kids to play in. The house was clean and smelled fresh when we arrived. We will definitely rent this home again!

The best location!!!
This was the perfect place to stay for a weekend! It was clean and kept up with nicely. The perfect walking distance and location in the city. It was so nice not having to worry about parking. We fit 2 cars without any problems. The owner responds quickly and is very accommodating!

Quaint house with great walking to historic areas. Comfortable and clean inside. Outside was convenient for our dog to be able to walk without leash. Could see that those before us did not pick up after their dogs. Outside could use a little cleaning up but was not bad. Parking was a little small for a truck, but nice that it was off street. Homeless shelter nearby was not an issue and microbrewery on the corner had a food truck part of the time we were there. Overall was perfect for our stay.

Not Clean
This property is not how it appears in the photos. It is not clean and had ants. The neighborhood seemed unsafe at first but apparently St. Augustine has quite a few homeless everywhere. Everything in the house was old and dirty. The sheets and bed where OK. The TV had no directions and very few channels. The walkability to all the sights was very good.

The front door key pad didn't work luckly we found the old fashion method the KEY. The house is damp and musty smelling. The windows fog over. The closet door wouldnt open we had to fix it, the rod fell on our head. The broom handle was broken off the broom we had to put a screw in it as the place needed sweeping inside and outside. The refrigerator was leaking puddles of water from underneath running into the floor. Our bed had a broken rail under it that banged when getting in and out. There are no chests with draws for your fold up clothes and no hangers. Livingroom rug smelled like dog pee especially with it being so damp inside the house.

Within Walking Distance
The House is quite neat. Very huge back yard if you are bringing Pets. There is a lot of trash and Homeless on the same street, but the Homeless do not bother you. The Owners are very quick to respond to any question or need. I did feel very safe there and would stay again. Everything is in walking distance.

Loved it!!
First I want to clarify something in other reviews regarding the neighborhood. It is Not a sketchy or bad neighborhood. We loved being able to walk to local attractions and the brewery a block away. The house was clean and our dog loved the back yard. I would also like to mention that the bed we slept in was amazing. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Location
The property was in an awesome location! Great walking to everything in Old town St. Augustine. The beds were comfy and it had a nice fenced in yard. The property was very old and could be updated! They do have a problem with tiny ants in the bathtub. There was an exterminator at the place when we got there, however, the ants are literally coming up thru the drain or out from underneath the tile and the tub because of the age of the building. There were also spiders in the top corner of the shower. We assumed they were feasting on the ants. We flushed what ants were there with scalding water and woke up the next morning and there were several ants crawling around in the morning again! We bought Clorox and poured it in the drain the second night and didn’t notice any the next morning! This must be a chronic problem since there was a comment in January 2023 about the ants and I assumed that the problem would have been taken care of

St Augustine Get Away
Visited St Augustine for a few days to eat, drink, see the sites and enjoy a concert at the amphitheater, and did just that. This location couldn't have been better or more accommodating, especially with the fenced in yard for the dogs. Will certainly be renting again our next trip up!!

This property needs a good cleaning inside and out
The house is cute and has great potential. The deck was cluttered and not a space you could sit outside. We did have a problem with the tub and could not use it. We are not high maintenance so we made the best of it. We notified the owner, who was 'sorry bout that' but did nothing to correct it at the time. It was apparent that it had been unused for some time and no one bothered to make sure it was rental ready. Disappointed in response, frankly.

Not a five star property
The dishwasher was full of slimy water in the bottom. When we opened the dishwasher to load it, it tilted forward and all of that scummy water flooded the kitchen and we had to clean it up. Worse, there’s one bathroom and it does not have a functioning exhaust fan or window that opens. YUCK. No matter how convenient the location, this neighborhood was trashy. The automated door lock batteries died after we checked in, so we had to go buy batteries. This house has major maintenance issues and the sticky floors need a good scrubbing.
