"We enjoyed the beautiful villa, everything we needed was there! Thank you for wonderful accommodations to have our retreat! Hopefully we will be returning "

"First, let me say this is not a cabin. The listing was a bit misleading if you are expecting a cabin, this is a townhome. That being said, it was lovely! Overall clean and well kept. The only thing we didn't use was the whirlpool tub as it didn't look clean. If you plan to do any cooking, the supplies are pretty basic (no baking sheets) but for stovetop cooking we were all set. None of that is said to dissuade people just to be informative. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!"

"We had a great time in Utica. The townhouse is fantastic! It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was close to Starved Rock and there are some nice places to eat in the area. Definitely recommend this place! "

Was the perfect lodging for us and our two teenage kids - perfect proximity to the state parks as well as being able to connect with family/friends who were staying at Grand Bear. "The Villa was amazing! Downtown Utica was a couple miles away, Starved rock was just as close. Grand Bear lodge was also very nice. Our host was great. We can’t wait to come again!"

"This was a perfect place and stay for us. 5 mins from the beach area of the lake. Great setup of the house. Owner thought of the details for your stay. Relaxing and fun. Everyone enjoyed this house and its location. The owner was attentive and had great communication"

"Based on the pictures you would think this was a simple but very nice home. However, once we checked in, just from the outside you could tell it has not been kept up. The deck is worn and weeds and trees are growing along side it. Inside, there were numerous things wrong, including a strong smell of cat pee that was in the hallway and got stronger in the bedroom. I let the owner know and she said she would have the cleaning crew check it out. However, it was clear that the countertops had not...

"The location was perfect, the house was clean with quiet location. Difficulty with keypad on door- probably set at single use versus multiple check ins. Oven was broke, but countertop oven was available. Unusual set up with huge bathroom and with bed in the great room area next to front door. "
