Cozy Nook-Beautifully renovated 2B-2B cabin-gated community by Fall Creek Falls

The Cozy Nook Cabin is nestled in a little nook just outside Fall Creek Falls State Park. Two (2) Master bedrooms-1 upstairs and 1 downstairs makes this cabin a perfect spot for couples or small families. New owners have turned this into a cozy paradise! All new stainless steel kitchen appliances, new soft bedding and plush linens are just a few of the amenities this cabin has to offer. Oh, and the views are to die for! Glass windows on one side of the cabin allow you the opportunity see a perfect sunset.
Be sure to get out and enjoy our beautiful surroundings like our (3) stocked ponds to fish in and our beautiful horses that love to be petted and fed. Our wide open spaces allow you enjoyable walks, play games in the green space and see all of the beautiful wildlife that play in our area. For swimming and cooling off in the hot summer, be sure to go to Falls Creek Falls State Park where they have an Olympic-sized pool with children’s wading pool, bathhouses and a snack bar. Lifeguards on Duty. Open 10am-5:30pm June/July Daily – August Weekends Only - $6 pp, per day; children 2 and under free. Pool Info Call 423-881-5298 Fall Creek Falls - Swimming — Tennessee State Parks (tnstateparks.com). Free Swimming Holes and the waterfalls are excellent places to cool off and enjoy the beautiful scenery as well.
Cozy Nook Cabin is centrally located in Spencer Tennessee. This beautiful area is great for day trips to Nashville (113 miles), Knoxville (102 miles) it Chattanooga (72 miles). My family and I spent 7 nights at this cabin and we had a wonderful time! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous and very clean. The location is beautiful and safe and the scenery is breathtaking! The host was so kind. We arrived very late and were so happy to find water bottles and small snacks waiting for us. Everything in the cabin is modern and the beds were very comfortable. We VRBO a LOT and this experience was by far superior to every other stay. Thank you so much for allowing us to spend a week in your beautiful home. We will try to come back next year if it’s available.

will be back!
Had a wonderful time fishing and just sitting on front porch! It was very quiet. We walked in the morning and afternoon saw deer and crows! We went with another couple having a private bathroom for each couple was a plus.

The Cozy Nook was a great getaway for me and my family. The property is nice, saw some amazing sunsets, my daughter pet the horses and we fished! Owner was prompt with responses to any questions we had. I highly recommend The Cozy Nook!

Rest and Relaxation
This is a wonderful top notch cabin. Well stocked kitchen which is essential unless you will be dining at the Falls Creek Falls lodge for all meals. So relaxing-perfect place to stay!!

Family getaway
We were very pleased with the property. We took our 3 children for a mini vacation before school started. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, but we still managed to fish, meet and feed the horses and swim in the pool. I loved sitting on the porch watching the storms. The cabin was stocked with so much food/supplies. We would definitely stay again!!

Great time at the Cozy Nook!!
My husband and I had a fantastic time at the cozy nook. We wanted a nice 'cozy' cabin out in the woods with a beautiful view for our anniversary and we got all that and more!! The cozy nook was spotless & pristine!! It was so cutely decorated and in a great location. We loved the area - close to Falls Creek Falls where we loved hiking and seeing the gorgeous falls. I would highly recommend the Cozy Nook and definetly would go back!!!

Chasing waterfalls
My husband and I plus another couple rode our Harleys to this cabin from North Mississippi to see Falls Creek waterfalls. The cabin was perfectly located to the state park. It was also well furnished which was very nice. Everything was clean and convenient. Beautiful property and sunset from the front porch. The grown men enjoyed the use of the air hockey table too. We enjoyed Falls Creek Falls a lot. The waterfall is amazing. But it is quite the hike to get to the bottom and back and worth it. We also went to Cumberland Caverns too, which I also recommend. Highly recommend this spot

Excellent home away from home
Initial reservation was easy. We received an email about a week in advance of check in explaining the rules, codes to get in the house, etc. Codes worked perfectly. Everything in the home is labeled and easy to find. The home had everything we needed and extra supplies. We took 2 near adult teens and it was great that they had their own space upstairs with a bedroom, bath, and game room. The outdoor space was fantastic with the wrap around porch and nice fire pit off the back deck. Also not too close to neighbors, trees provide an excellent privacy screen. Very quiet neighborhood. Good location for us as we wanted to spend time chasing waterfalls in nearby parks but also within 1 1/2 hours of Chattanooga to spend some time there. In summary, no issues. Fantastic home and would stay again.

Had a good experience home owner answered all questions before I got there. Cabin was very clean except behind couch in game room with dead bugs should of been slept. Beautiful scenery and nice neighbors. Had heard from people staying at the lodge the lady that runs it is not a people person . She may try to be a little nicer if she wants people returning at her lodge How ever our lady was great to deal with. Would stay here again

Absolutely beautiful and clean! Awesome getaway 2022
Let me start with I was concerned with other reviews about this property. Mostly because of the property owners being hard to reach exc. Not only was finding this property easy, but it was absolutely beautiful. The owners quickly respond and leave detailed Instructions. Literally the easiest people to work with. We didn’t have one problem finding this or checking in. The décor was beautiful and the set up was great. Super clean and had everything you would ever need. The property is near a waterfall swimming area with breath taking views. It’s quite at night and you can see almost every star in the sky. Near by is a communal pool witch was a hit with the kids. If you’re thinking about staying in this area THIS is where you want to stay. If we come back to this area we will always come back!

Horrible property manager
Everything was fine until we arrived in the area of the property and we couldn’t find it because we were given incorrect information we were tired we had a crying baby and our phones were about to die when we spoke to the property manager she was rude made it seem to be our fault but she booked the same cabin twice and gave us the information of another person so she ended up getting us into the Kerik cabin but again was super rude blaming us would take any kind of criticism made it seem like made it seem like we were the bad guy I told her she was horrible and all those things and she said well why don’t you just leave and I said but we don’t have anywhere else to go unfortunately or I would cause this is last-minute booking for graduation so we stayed we paid we left but the cabin had food in it and food in the cabinets and open condiments from the owner it was very weird like if you were gonna bring food and grill out or have dinner there you couldn’t put your food there was no room because the owner had a ton of food stored there and then I said some to them about it and she smartly said well just throw it out which we did not 100% do that because we knew she would probably Try to charge us for that then she said oh I’ll just refund your money you can go long story short she’s a terrible property manager they can’t take any criticism and hold up to a mistake she made they did end up refunding us for the night stays but I wanted to get this message out there because sadly I feel like we live in a day and age where there is no more customer service and people can’t take any type of criticism and they don’t wanna help you out

Relaxing
We travel with friends at least once a year sometime twice and have stayed in many different places. Our stay at Cozy Up at the Cottage is high on our favorite list! It is in a beautiful and quiet setting! It also has a very warm and welcoming feel to it! Very conducive for relaxing! We plan to return when the weather is warmer!

Great process, check-in and access to property we’re not ideal
I will start by saying the experience I had may not be something that has happened before, maybe it’s partially my fault but there definitely was a communication breakdown. Whenever I rent a property like this, I always send a message with my cell phone number because that’s the easiest way to communicate I did not get a response but that was fine. When I checked on the property, check-in was at 3 o’clock and we were going to arrive there almost exactly at 3 o’clock. We pull up to the property and I go to the app to try to pull up the access information that I assumed would download with access codes at 3 o’clock check-in time. At about 315, we ended up not having codes but my phone did not have Cellular service so we left and went somewhere where I had Internet. When I noticed there still were not instructions to access the property we went back and I pushed the video doorbell button. Someone finally answered and I asked them for the code to get into the house. They simply unlocked the door. Once inside the house there was a one page set of instructions taped to the refrigerator. There were access codes on there so I thought I was all good. Later that day we left to go get supplies and when we came back after dark, the gate code from the form did not work. I attempted to leave the property to get service again and try and message the property management company. They did reply relatively quick with a message stating they had emailed me the access information the week prior. They also sent over access information as a PDF through the messaging system. The gate code provided worked and so did the door code but the alarm started going off and I did not see an alarm code on the document. It ended up being the same code as the door but was not addressed in the document as being the same. It only mentioned that the alarm would be sad when you arrive, The alarm actually sets every time you lock the door from the outside which we did not know that and it is not noted on the document. When I went back through my emails, I did receive an email not from VRBO but from deer Creek properties which I looking back probably assumed was spam, and in the subject line was the name of the property but after looking at 50 or 60 properties to find the one we wanted, the name did not ring any bells. After figuring out pin numbers and alarm codes, the state was great. Fully stocked property with everything you needed, very clean well laid out property, good location!
