"We loved our stay at Old Mallard. It was clean, spacious and mostly as described. The pool area, although closed, looked a bit messy. The main floor bedrooms were great and the kids loved the bunk room. The dining area was plenty big for 10 of us! There were not any games as listed in the site, but lots of books. The basement and bathrooms need a little work and the basement twin room is rustic. None of this really impacted our stay. Would be nicer with some fixes but we still say the...

"The house sits high up on the hill with a big deck overlooking the lake. Viewing the lake with coffee in AM, watching the lake activity during day and seeing the moon and lights across the water with a glass of wine at night was lovely. The lake in front of the house is a no wake zone which affords a calmer setting which was really nice. The owner lives in the area and was quickly attentive to answer questions and resolve any small issues that came up. Highly recommend this home."

"My family and I just spent the past 2 nights at this clean and well appointed condo. The bed was very comfortable and my kids said the pull out couch was as well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Check in and out were super easy with the info that host Barbara provided. My husband and kids enjoyed snow tubing and we all loved the heated pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend. We did not ski this time around and the lack of snow looked a bit barren but the mountain was bustling! Thank you...

The owner Neil answered all our questions promptly. Local food leaves a lot to be desired. "Overall our time spent at this home was great! It was the perfect place for all of our friends to meet up for labor day weekend and reconnect after some of us have moved away. The pond wasn't very swimmable - the water plants were so tall they were touching the surface/just beneath the surface from the bottom of the pond and it was quite shallow. Was fine for us to float on but again, not really swimmable. The home owner was quick to respond when the front door automatic lock wasnt working...

"This house was a great find! We were attending a wedding at Lake Hopatcong and instead of staying in a bunch of hotel rooms, we choose this home. Four spacious bedrooms, extra beds for additional guests and everything we needed to enjoy being together as a family. Having to travel from North Carolina, my husband and I had to work remotely one day during our stay. The bedrooms upstairs had nice desk space to accommodate private space for us to work.
