"We normally stay in the middle of nowhere, so this was a change for us to be in a town setting. Sherborne is a really lovely and vibrant town, with interesting buildings. The cottage was very cosy and clean, very comfy beds,it had everything we needed, we could hear the Abbey bells which was lovely, it's just round the corner."

"It was chosen primarily because it was closest to family we were visiting for a few days, but also the photos of the accommodation looked fun and location beautiful. We stayed in Shawn, at the very top of a very steep hill, for us townies was the difficult part lol Shawn was very comfortable, small kitchen area, toilet and shower and lovely small decking area with bbq and views! Although we didn’t meet any staff communication was very clear via emails and website. Thoroughly recommend 👍 "

"Really great place to stay for large group get together, we had 6 adults and 4 kids staying at one point and it didn’t feel crowded at all! The place was really clean and the grounds and amenities were really excellent. We met one of the hosts and he was super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone to go for. A stay ! Lovely and quiet and a great base for day trips to cheddar, wells and only an hour or so the coast and Bristol."

"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful house for a friends reunion. The house is charming, comfortable, with great communal areas and cosy bedrooms. It’s well placed near a train station, and a great walk. We loved the fireplace and the hot tub which created a great atmosphere and kept us warm in winter."

"We enjoyed our stay with work colleagues on the way to a conference. The George is an old building with what seemed like a maze of corridors to the bedrooms. But once you are there, rooms were clean, comfortable with good hospitality trays (nice big mugs for tea!) and attractive toiletries. Staff were all friendly and personable, remembering names and details so we could enjoy a laugh together. Good value for the price. Would stay again. Parking is a squeeze especially if you have a big car. "
