"It’s an older property, so what we expected . The room was clean & cozy. Great walking path behind the property to walk your dog. Hot pools are right across the street. It would be nice if there was coffee in the room. I did see a coffee pot in the lobby, but we were on the road before the lobby opened; the diesel truck out front needed to warm up from 5:30am-6am, so we were awake!! "

"We stayed here for the nostalgia, it’s been 25 years since we came to the Thunderbird and it didn’t disappoint! I’m pretty sure the pool was closed then too - but we weren’t there to swim and it’s not advertised as having a pool. We just enjoyed the humor of it all. The room was clean and the guy who checked us in was friendly. If you’re looking for luxury, then pay quadruple the price and stay elsewhere! The Thunderbird Motel is a gem, an absolute classic and for the price, I have zero...
