"We loved Heather's cottage, it was clean and just as advertised. Our favorites were watching the sunset on the porch, taking walks in the beach and horseback riding just down the road. Highly recommend, if we ever get a chance to go back to NC this cottage will be the place we'll book for sure! "

"I travel in hotels and short term stays about 15-20 nights a year.... not a jaded road warrior, but not someone with unrealistically high expectations either. The location was exactly as described, and the unit was pretty much as described.... The outside areas were recently renovated, in very good shape in the hallways and balcony. A bit surprised to find an old school drip coffee maker instead of the usual K cup machine, but not an issue. The furniture was functional but worn... Everything...

"We loved our little slice of beach heaven. The condo was facing the beach and we enjoyed having coffee on the balcony every morning. The location was just perfect. There is so much beach and lots of space for everyone to spread out. We always bring our own beach equipment, but the host does provide chairs and an umbrella in the closet which was a nice touch. "We've stayed in a few rentals. This one tops the list. It is not run by property management, and the owners live nearby. The owners added several extras not found in other rentals such as many condiments and a bowl of packaged snacks. Pet friendly. Outdoor area to enjoy with the dogs. Location is great. It's close to a coffee shop. The town is super cute. A short drive to the ferry. Plenty of activities."

"2016 build with staircase to first floor. Caught slot drum on popping cork with Z-Man pearl soft bait shad with inshore oil. Caught pinfish in creek to bait my crabpot and got a dozen keepers to make crabcakes. Beautiful views of sunrise and what a Full moon to view from over the creek! Slept in the loft bedroom with gorgeous view of the water! Bring your kayak or canoe for full water exploration."
