"It seems in the past it might used to the be good, looking at the infra. We arrived and there was no one at the check in - it was closed. Thee was a nunber to be called, but no one answered. Finally, I found an on-site worker who knew someone ( not the person at the sign ) that could help me. A very nice old lady who did hsr best but could barely find the key. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY....

""Room" was a well maintained and comfortable RV. A bit of road noise because of close proximity to major roadway but not really a problem."

"It is very nice cottage with beautiful scenarios , We really enjoyed our vacation."

"This cottage is a short walk from the town square. The property has grills and a hot tub. There are areas to hang out both indoors and out. The property is fun to explore. Our infant slept soundly in the bedroom while we played cards outside or sat in the hot tub. The hot tub is within range for our video baby monitor. Some board games would be a nice addition to this space. This is a nice spot to relax and would be a great space for gatherings - particularly if you could snag other spots on...

"My family, my son and his friend and my two beautiful grandchildren shared memories of previous trips to the Kern River with my husband at this beautiful home. The river was just steps away to enjoy. The house left nothing to want for. It felt like home. Thank you. Next time a longer stay"

"Me and my husband plus our Doberman boy had the best relaxing time there. The attention to details made all the diference. This is a very special location and I could stay there forever :) Thank you guys for an amazing stay and for the hospitality. Would definetly come back"

"We stayed during a very hot month of July but once we got the A/C and fans going it was more tolerable. The home was so adorable and super clean. Felt like we were glamping with the exterior amenities of camping and interior amenities of home. Very happy with this quaint and cozy place."

"Great place to gather and stay after our daytime adventures around Kernville. We all agreed we'd stay here again anytime!"

"We had such a great time during our stay at this property! Our group consisted of three families coming together with kids of multiple ages. Everyone slept comfortably and there were plenty of beds for all! The kids enjoyed running around the grounds. They loved looking at the horses in the morning, playing on the zip line and taking dips in the hot tub in the evenings! This place is perfectly located within the town of Kernville. Thank you again for all of the fun!"

"Deer on front lawn comfortable space with a responsive host"

"Love it love it love it. Kids loved it and we did too. The house was a great get away from the city life, the view, the quiet and the simple fact that everything we wanted to go do is less than 10mins away driving was a big plus. Everything in the house worked great.Too great may I say that the A/C in the house had to turned off for a few hrs because of got too cold inside, knowing outside was HOT. Finally, having found the key, we went to the room. Besides the bed, that was nice, everything else was serioulsy dirty, I mean, DIRTY. And Im not the picky kind of person. I wikl give one example ( there were others ); inside the dishwasher, there were used dirty plates from someoelse. I rest my case. Would never stay again and do NOT recommend. By the way, we stayed thefe withiut even having checked in. When leaving, again thede was noone there and I just left the key there. It was already paid."
