Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

Walk 12 minutes to Lakeside Beach and soak up some feel-good vitamin D. (Lakeside Beach is a privately-owned beach open to the public with the purchase of an entrance fee.)
Hit the slopes for a fun-filled day at Heavenly -- the Gondola is 3 blocks away!
In warmer months, visit the driving range at Bijou Golf Course -- a quick 5-minute drive. Check out Zephyr Cove for watersport rentals or horseback riding by day, then explore a plethora of casinos by night.
Walk minutes to sample a flight of local microbrews at Stateline Brewery or head to Base Camp for pizza, s'mores, and nightly live music.

THE FINE PRINT
Strict ordinances govern Tahoe vacation rentals. This home cannot be used for parties/weddings/receptions. Maximum allowable occupancy is 4 people and 1 car, enforced/patrolled 24 hours/day (even an afternoon BBQ with too many people is subject to citation/fine). Over-occupancy, excess vehicles, or excessive noise any time of day will result in guest fine up to $2,000 (in addition to fines assessed against the homeowner by local authorities). Failure to observe the NO PARTY policy may result in eviction. No hot tub use after 10pm. This home is in a sound-sensitive neighborhood and is not suitable for large/noisy groups. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
