"The Harcourt apartments are situated in a quiet area, near a chip shop and within easy reach of the main part of Newark town, the castle, cinema, parks etc.. The property is clean, with comfy beds and towels supplied. The single bed is a bit narrow, but ok for a child. The kitchen appliances look new and are good quality, but the fridge lacks a freezer box. There's a sofa in the kitchen, but not big enough to comfortably sit 3. "We spent 3 wonderful days with my family. The place is excellent. I highly recommend it. Everything is clean, all the details are wonderful and the location is amazing. we will definitely repeat the experience. thank you very much for every detail."

"Hare lodge has everything and more. Karen has provided everything you could possibly need. The lodge was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We were amused by the number of hares around! Beds were extremely comfortable and thoughtfully furnished. We thought Hare lodge was very good value for money. The only thing we didn’t like much was the layout. Having to go out into the conservatory to get to the en suite bedroom wasn’t great, and in winter would be chilly, but we enjoyed our stay...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with a beautiful garden and plenty of room within the property. There were seven of us and didn't feel on top of each other. "Cottage good fishing good but the hot tub not working I was told it was out of action until the 1st of September but still not working"

"Stayed here for my hen weekend and it was amazing! All the rooms were lovely decorated and so clean. The whole group of us really enjoyed it and loved finishing our nights off with a dip in the big hot tub. The weekend was so luxurious we didn’t feel the need to go anywhere. Everyone said they would definitely go back, whether it be another party weekend or chilled one with the family, would suit all needs. So well equipped and so clean. Loved it!"

Dissapointing

"I had made a call prior to check in to request parking, advised to get there early and ask at desk. This was incorrect and there were no spaces available. At 15.12, after standing in a queue for over 15 mins I am told my room was not ready, the manager came out and was totally disinterested in me as a customer, but found one that would be in another 5 mins. No apology what's so ever!! The staff member said I hope it will be better next time, to which I replied "I doubt there will be a next time" When I went to dinner my choice, battered haddock wasn't available, i think on a Saturday early evening this is totally unacceptable. The shower screen had black mould along the bottom which had been sealed in with sillicon, the kettle lid was broken making a refil almost impossible and the hairdryer had no nozzle to style my hair.. Resulting in "I won't be booking with you again". Regards Sue Smith"
