"This property was very clean, and as other reviews stated, the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was good, and they responded positively to our suggestions for more accommodations for large groups such as extra bath towels and kitchen cloths and towels. We also suggested a few folding chairs and a high chair, since the table cannot comfortably seat more than about ten (there are a few seats at the island as well though). The hot tub was a definite plus, all the better with...

"We loved our winter stay in this cute, cozy cabin. Everything was clean and comfortable and the host checked in to make sure we had everything we needed, which we did. There was ample room for our family of 4, were able to hike in Van Buren State Park and along Lake Michigan from the cabin and were still minutes from town to go in for dinner. We were looking for a cabin in the woods with snow, and this delivered. We will be back to this cabin in the summer or fall to experience different...

"Loved the way the house was set up. Pool area was completely soundproof, which was nice for those not in the pool. There was plenty of 'spread out' room so multiple activities like games, puzzles, TV, etc could occur at the same time. Only two suggestions. 1-some of the mattresses need replaced. 2- larger showers are needed. "

"Exactly as pictured! Charming comfortable place! Beds were very comfortable and the pillows also very comfortable. Loved the large kitchen with fridge with ice and water dispenser! Loved the firepit and seating! About 6 blocks from lake and huge park for kids!"

Laura and Justin were incredibly gracious with their space and so helpful in their advice for hot spots in South Haven and beyond. We made it over to Bittersweet one day to ski. It was a first for our kids and we had the best time. Hitting the hot tub at the house that night after skiing was the best medicine! "Who knew that sand and snow combined would be just what we needed! As soon as we walked into our cottage getaway, the cozy space welcomed us with a beautiful kitchen, large TV and the bed was really comfortable!! We felt secure, we felt the kitchen was well supplied and the town was welcoming and friendly! We'd love to come again and bring our family!!"

"This cottage was completely adorable and SO clean! The pictures on VRBO don't do it justice. The decor had a natural (loved the live plants!) and soothing feel. The area was very quiet and perfect for my solo retreat. It's also a very short drive to Kal-Haven trail, which was a delight. I plan to rent this again as this is one of the nicest VRBOs I've stayed in."

"The property was lovely, quiet and clean- must be fairly new to rental market still needed a couple things. Communication with rental group was very delayed or None existent. I had to directly contact host who called immediately. Met another renter at the pool who stated she’s stayed in neighborhood twice and both times communication was awful. We were never told about a fob needed to get into pool ( she waited 6 hours for a response and told me). We searched the house and finally found it. "

"Enjoyed taking the bikes out for a spin"

"We love coming to South Haven and this spot was perfect for us. There were 6 adults and 2 children. The house was spacious, clean, and the perfect location. High chair and kids toys were there. Only a few blocks to town, park, and beach. "

"With our family, we spent several days at this place between Christmas and New Year's. A wonderful place to stay and the hosts were very easy to contact and were very helpful."

"The house was clean and comfortable for our family of 7. The area was very nice. It was a quick drive to the Maritime Museum and downtown South Haven. We really enjoyed being there during the winter. It wasn't crowded in town and we still found plenty to do!"
