"We thought it was a lot of house for the money. Kitchen was well appointed and easy to navigate. House was quirky but we enjoyed it. Especially enjoyed hiking on the nearby trail. Also recommend the cable museum,,and a visit to Brigus. One should also know that Bay Roberts has all the stores etc,,but no downtown section and there is a fairly busy road in front of the house."

"This property was an exceptional find. Exactly as advertised but with a view more spectacular than imagined. Very clean property with all the necessary amenities. The cottage was extremely comfortable and spacious with exceptionally beautiful bedrooms with loads of closet space. We were very well located to enjoy all the nearby villages such as Bay Roberts and Harbour Grace. We had exceptional weather which put the icing on the cake on our trip. "We enjoyed our time here very much. The accommodation is basic but comfortable and clean, providing everything that is needed for a stay in nature (including a fully stocked kitchenette and emergency tea bags). The location is amazing with a pond, seating, fireplace, berbequw, a hot tub and several wonderfull walking trails nearby. "To begin with, the residence is one of the best we've ever stayed in. The home is warm, charming and eclectic while being up to date with every convenience. We felt so welcomed by the towns people that we were able to join right in with the local activities - very fun, indeed. If you never leave Norman's Cove, there's plenty to do with several hiking trails and endless shores to wander. We found a jut of rock over the water just North of the cove where we could watch the whales come in at dinner...

"Well we got to the house that we had rented. Unfortunately the house was locked up. The house was not ready for us or anyone. The person who put it up for rent did not communicate to their spouse. Fortunately a neighbor across the road let us stay in her house."
