"We had a wonderful week in Cambridgeshire and surrounding. The cottage is so lovely, quite with a beautiful garden to rest outside. Shopping and pub in Kimbolton present all you need to spend a nice vacation. The cottage itself was clean and offered everything you need to cook for family . "House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. "Very large property, lots of space in kitchen/diner and two living rooms, plus utility room. Family party of seven seniors, felt very at home here. Kitchen had just about everything, you just had to find where things were. Four bedrooms, three doubles and one twin bedded. Onsuite bathroom with the master bedroom. Fairly large secluded garden, with several outdoor seating areas. Quiet area, easy parking for 3 – 4 vehicles. Very quick responses from excellent, obliging host. Only improvement...

"The house was exactly as the photos show - well equipped, clean and comfortable with a view over the marina and the river. We had to call our hosts with a power issue on our first night and they couldn't have been more helpful. We weren't there on holiday so didn't get chance to explore the town or area properly but hope to do so on future visits."

"The apartment is functional, great shower, clean (other than cobwebs on the windows), fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. However, it was incredibly hot and the windows are wired so that they can only open about 4 cm. There was a fan in the bedroom but it was extremely noisy. I am guessing they’ve had trouble with people leaving the windows open in the past and so have secured them in this way, but then they need to get AC as this was extremely uncomfortable.
