When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk staff couldn't check me in. The gentleman there wasn't sure, how to check in a customer who came through Expedia. He called someone and was given instructions. After some time, he told me that he is unable to give my room access cards and asked me go with the facilities manager who will open my door. He told me that he will send the room cards to my room, but no one brought the cards.
I told the facilities manager (a lady) that we will need the room cards as we may need to go out, but no one came. She told me that their credit card machine wasn't working, but I already paid for my room. So, this didn’t make any sense of not being able to print room cards.
After we entered the room and unpacked our luggage, we found that the toilet wasn't working properly, it was clogged. I called the front desk and a maintenance person was sent. He used a pump to unclog, and it was better than before, but wasn't fully working. Needed multiple flushes. Since we were tired and was there for one night only, we didn’t bother to call back the service again.
In the morning, I went to the front desk leaving my family at the room as we didn't have the room access cards. I shared my experience, and a the lady working there printed me room cards, which was of no use as we checked out in the morning.
The room was old and dusty.
Overall a very bad experience. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.
