"Extremely friendly receptionist and it’s so nice to be accompanied to your room rather than be left alone . The hotel rooms are quite quirky with antique furnishings and our room had an oriental/ Asian flavour…perhaps some artwork over the bed would have made the room more appealing.The bed and shower were great and extremely hot water so that is a bonus. "I had a little trouble finding the car park but the receptionist was brilliant in helping me out and giving me a pre-printed map and an accurate post code for my SatNav. Check-in was seamless. Food was excellent. Wonderful ambience in the bar. Comfy room."

"The guest house is a lovely older building type, very comfortable and very close (6 minutes on foot) to the city center. The lovely Kevin and Vicky make us feel very welcome and well taken care of, making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. Loved that the room had a mini fridge, a microwave and a kettle, as well as an assortment of teas and coffees for my use.
