Perched on a bluff high above Eagle Fork Creek the Morning Star is built to provide the perfect romantic quiet getaway. With an elegant design, luxurious furnishing, and spectacular views of the sunrise over the Kiamichi Mountains, the Morning Star is waiting to provide that “rest in the woods” you need. Once our guests stay at this cabin, they usually find themselves coming back, it is easy to see why!

2nd Stay just as great!
We love this little cabin so much, we returned for a 2nd visit. Wonderful getaway, quiet and private and so relaxing. Clean, beautifully appointed romantuc cabin that will not disappoint.

Quiet Getaway
The property was clean, well equipped, and best of all quiet. My boyfriend and I came out as an escape from the city and the cabin provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay! Miss Priss the cabin cat was definitely our favorite part of it all since we both missed our own kitties at home. She was definitely an accommodating hostess!

We had the most amazing stay at this adorable cabin! It was the perfect getaway, so secluded and private, giving us the peace and quiet we were hoping for. The hot tub was absolutely fantastic, and we spent hours relaxing in it. The shower was incredible, and the bed was so ultra-comfortable — we slept like babies. The cabin had everything we needed, and it truly felt like a home away from home. We loved how private and cozy it was, making it the ideal retreat. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay!

Good time
Very quaint and well place cabin in the woods. Well put together cabin and use of remedies. Gas fireplace a smidge difficult. Nice scenic view of the land. Friendly animal life. Loved miss priss. Simple pathed trail to follow to river.

Just a quiet peaceful slice of Heaven
We absolutely enjoyed our stay in this adorable cabin. The view from the back porch is beautiful. Just a half-mile hike down to the water. The climb back up can be steep, but it's not too bad. The kitchen has plenty to cook with, should you choose to do so. Just a quick stop at the market about 4 miles away, and you can have anything you need. The Wal-Mart in Broken Bow is not a supercenter, so the grocery options are a bit limited. The Wal-Mart in Mena is a full supercenter. There are other stores available and either town is about equal in distance from the cabin. We had a little cell service and the cabin doesn't have wifi, which is a great bonus to maintain your peace. There are tons of movies to watch in front of the fireplace. Miss Priss is a sweet addition to your stay and will let you give her scratches. There is food in the cabin to feed her.

This was the best cabin we have stayed at so far! The views were beautiful and the cabin itself was perfect for just the two of us. It was very clean and charming. There is no wifi in this cabin but there were a mutitude of dvd options to choose from. Highly recommend!

Perfect getaway!
My husband and I stayed here for our 12th anniversary. It was more than we expected. The views are breathtaking. There was another cabin on the property but we could not see them or hear them at all, they were a perfect distance away. The air, the people of the town, it was perfect. We hiked down to the river and had so much fun stacking rocks. We saw raccoons, an armadillo, deer, and of course, my favorite guest, Ms. Priss! We loved that she’d come to visit and rub against our legs! Watching the sunset in the hot tub was the end to a perfect day. I loved that there was no WiFi, we enjoyed each others company and laughed while watching Adam Sandler movies(great movie choices in the basket!). I could say so much about this cabin and how amazing it was. So cozy, so romantic. We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing Nature Getaway
It was absolutely breathtaking!!! The views were astronomical in the evenings and absolutely breathtaking at sunrise. I would recommend this getaway to any couple or soneone looking to reset with nature!!!

To start off, this rental had a very beautiful view, the hot tub with the cool morning temperatures with the sunrise in the background is AMAZING!! Cabin was very clean and had easy check in and checkout instructions definitely a 10/10 experience and will be back!
