"Lovely and quaint space, very well set up with all the amenities needed (kitchen very well stocked and nice additions of lots of coffee, tea, cream etc). The room was very clean. It is a very old historic building so had some parts to it that were ‘tired’ but very typical in a building of its age. Despite this, the kitchen, bathroom and living space were all very clean and functional. We loved it and will come back! "

"Overall the property was as advertised. Close to Smith Falls and Merrickville, it is situated on a small waterway that is peaceful and has seating on the dock. Price was fair for the accommodations. The icons on VRBO indicate that there are two showers but there is only one. The upstairs bathroom is a tub only. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. We had a lovely stay."

"Property was perfect for our family of 7 coming from across Canada for a Celebration of Life in Kingston. Ferry was fast and easy. House is very well equipped with anything you may need. Beautiful kitchen and fully stocked and labelled so easy to find everything. Very clean, private cottage and the views are breath taking! We will definitely book again!"

"Courtney was spot-on when she described the property in her listing. This place was PERFECT for the weekend my friends and I had planned. Unbelievable sunsets over the St. Lawrence from their HUGE entertainment deck. We were able to enjoy a campfire each night that was tended to by the property managers. "This cottage is just as advertised. Well equipped, beautiful quiet location. We walked, kayaked, went into town to explore. We spent our down time on the screened in porch which was fantastic. Internet was not workjng when we arrived and a service call was placed. The outage was due to the satellite dish being moved, NO fault of the owner!! Carol was very responsive in expediting the repair."

"Great cottage to relax with friends. The Cottage was in great shape and clean, but could use a good deep cleaning in certain areas. The dock and waterfront areas are amazing. The Sauna heats up quickly, but only fits 2-3 adults comfortably. Overall a great cottage and will definitely be looking to book again in the future!"

"This was our second time staying here. The place was super clean and well stocked to meet our needs. We spent lots of time on the porch listening to the birds and later spotted a deer on the property. Lots of fireflies too! We will be returning."

"The cottage and the area are lovely. Loved the hot tub and the dock. The cottage could use some maintenance though. Broken bed. I know you said that you have ordered a new one. Very uncomfortable mattresses. Broken microwave handle. Door off the sunroom sticks badly. If these were all fixed I would come back and / or recommend to friends."

"We were completely impressed with the property and the location of the cottage. We have gone to few other locations and this one by far was the best with the cottage itself and the lake. We would spend every day on the dock and enjoy the lake as access was great since you had a sandy entrance with little amount of weeds. Would definitely consider staying here again."
