Money Creek Chalet is a perfectly stunning mountain escape tucked in the woods just 20 minutes west of the Stevens Pass Mountain Resort. Set on a peaceful and private 1.2 acres and surrounded by tall trees and native greenery, this 1,420 square foot home has everything you're looking for to create a memorable Pacific Northwest getaway: gorgeous living space, sparkling hot tub, propane grill and unbeatable access to all the outdoor recreation Washington State is famous for. Well behaved pet owners are welcome to bring their furry pals, and there's plenty of space for the kids to explore the spacious yard and surrounding rural community.

Mostly enjoyable, slightly misses the mark
Location is great for getting to Stevens Pass. The cabin is comfortable, great open kitchen and lower floor plan. Living room is cozy and picturesque with great views of the surrounding mountains, weather permitting. We enjoyed our time here, the "chalet" is nicely appointed with modern furniture. Extended checkout to 8pm for $75. We were able to get another day of skiing in which was nice. Master bed was not comfortable, the frame feels like it is about to fall apart. Linens and towels were cheap and scratchy. Bathrooms are dated. Heated toilet seats were an interesting novelty. Water temp is either cold or scalding, not much of an in between. Hot tub remains broken (see earlier reviews). None of the jets work, you're just taking a bath together. Also, the owners have a ring camera pointed right at the hot tub. It does get hot at least. All in all, great location to stay while skiing but the chalet misses the mark quality wise for the price point. I wouldn't go so far as to not recommend it, just understand you're paying for proximity to the mountain more than anything. Rental company staff were polite and accommodating.

Relaxing Mountain Chalet
Money Creek Chalet was first class. Loved the heated toilet seats and the well equipped kitchen. We had nice towels and extra bedding for the cooler nights. We enjoyed the quiet and peaceful setting. Would recommend this property without hesitation. Thanks for a great place for our family to get together.

A lovely stay in the wilderness
The house was very clean and cosy, had all the supplies we needed, and was well located close to trails and the national forest. We enjoyed our evenings by the fire (nice fire pit) and appreciated the climate control during the heat wave. There was slight confusion at check-in as we got outdated instructions for opening the key box, which was actually not needed: all we had to do was open the keypad lock. It was also somewhat disappointing that the hot tub kept overheating, but the management company was extremely responsive to our needs, so no complaints here. One of the big pluses was also the fact that the house is equipped with smart tv. The down side here though was that most subscription channels required updating, and we couldn’t do that without a password. But come to think of it, I never raised this question - the issue might have been easily resolved. But tv was not a priority for us - playing outside was! On the whole, we had a very restful and pleasant stay!

Lovely stay!
We had a great time hanging out in the house and walking down to the river. Very bright and clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and pretty comfortable beds. You can't see any other houses from the property, so it feels very private, and there were beautiful views of the mountains in all weather!

We stayed here for 3 nights with another family, using this property as a base to ski Stevens pass for consecutive days. We loved that it was only ~25 min drive to Stevens, house was very clean, updated, well stocked and cozy. It was nice having a hot tub to enjoy after the ski day. Kids loved playing outdoor in the snow while adults could watch them from the window inside. Heated toilet seats was a bonus too. Property management team was easy to work with. We already plan our next return trip to Money Creek Chalet when we ski Stevens pass again.

Full joy for white Christmas
We loved this property at the first sight and felt more satisfied that it looked actually even better than the listing details. All the electrical appliances are quality brands, the cookware is a little bit worn out but clean and good to use, it has everything we need. During our stay, it was almost snowing everyday, we enjoyed staying in the house with Xmas tree and all the board games, and also the jacuzzi outside in the white scene. The communication with property manager was great, we always get fast response, especially when we need help to shovel snow on the driveway. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again in winter or in summer for different scenery!!

Great experience!
We had a really great time at the cabin and were very satisfied by the quality of it! The common area was so comfy, and the kitchen was clean and WELL stocked with everything that we needed. The communication was also great, and we had everything squared away before the start of our trip. 10/10 recommend!

Friends & Family Retreat
Three groups of friends had a lovely stay. We all had kids (infants and toddlers) and were able to have a blast with them at the house and in the surrounding area. Quick, scenic and easy walk to the river was the highlight along with s'mores and the hot tub. Super clean. Abundance of linens/towels for everyone. Loved the heated toilet seats for the chilly mornings ;)

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful getaway over mother's day weekend. The cabin was in wonderful condition with updates and personal touches throughout. My children enjoyed the bunk beds and we all loved the modern firepit and hot tub. Great access to local hikes and it is dog friendly! We enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful woodsy and private setting. Loved the wood stove. The hot tub was not working properly, of which we were informed after our arrival. The management did give us a modest discount of our bill because of it.

Good location for Stevens Pass
We rented Money Creek Chalet for our family ski vacation to Stevens Pass. The house was easy to find and less than 30 min from the slopes. It was a good location. We usually stay on the other side of the pass and expected snow which was a little bummer but we were hit by a storm that solved the problem :) Just something to be aware of if you are not familiar with the area like us. The layout of the house makes it that the bunk-bed room gets very noisy if your kids go to bed early but we adjusted easily. It is right next to the kitchen and below the master. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, the hot-tub was very nice so was the wood fire place. The wifi was very spotty and too slow to stream a movie. That was very unfortunate and hope this is upgraded in the future. The listing makes it clear that the house is pet friendly. It is the first time we rent a pet-friendly house and it shows. We like animals but the rug in the living was full of dog hair. That was quite a turn off for me but my kids didn't mind playing there anyway. We also believed there was an potential doggy accident on the bunk-bed room's carpet as it was completely soaking at one spot when we arrived. No smell though so could have been something else but it took the full 4 days of our stay to dry even with the fan blowing on it all day. We do have more reservations coming at Money Creek and do plan on coming again. We still believe it is a good value for our need. We hope the cleaning crew had issues with their vacuum that day or that the doggy before us was just shedding like crazy :) Would be nice to not come back home with a suitcase of dog hair ;) Thanks for the friendly and fast communication before, during and after our stay.
