"Loved the hotel, beautiful room, great food, fantastic freindly and helpful staff. The only thing that slightly tarnishes the shine ,is the amount of construction material that seems to have been dumped around the grounds. As you drive into the property there are piles of aggregate and concrete blocks ,which are the 1st thing you see. During a walk around the grounds there are also other areas where it seems equipment and materials have been left. This didn't effect our enjoyment of this...

Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. "The Briarcroft Wayth Hotel is a small boutique hotel and great place to stay. Parking is easy to find, the sitting area is lovely. They provide a guest kitchen with refrigerator dishwasher sink, etc., as well as tea, coffee, sugar, and milk. The rooms are nice, although some are still under renovation. The staff is helpful and friendly. My only wish was that the mattress had a soft mattress topper to make the bed more comfortable. Other than that it was a great stay!"
