"I liked staying at this lodge, but did not like driving the extra 5 miles to check-in at the hotel in town. The lodge would be a great place for a friends or family reunion. There was a large common area and kitchen, but also microwave and fridge in the room. I think I was the only one there when I stayed."

"I had a great time at the cabin. Unfortunately most of my time was spent working but the location afforded me the opportunity to go for quiet hikes and fishing in the evening and a day of fishing with a local guide. I will be back to stay again. Hosts were great! I have zero regrets and would recommend this cabin to anyone that is going to be in the area!!!"

"My family and I loved this rental! We enjoyed the location and got to see Moose daily. The public fishing access was very close and we caught our limited of Salmon each day! The house had all the essentials that were needed. Would highly recommend this rental and hope it will be available my next trip to AK."

"After spending time at a “cabin” near the Kenai river where the description was misleading at best, this felt 5 star. Clean, spacious and fully equipped. I love that the firewood was bountiful and the home had all major appliances. The beds were super comfortable and it was a treat to have a nice bathroom. The shower was like those you get in a fancy 5 star resort. I will book this again!"

"This house is in an ideal location, especially for fishing on the Kenai river! It is very clean and the facilities are great! I was impressed by the large freezer to store fish! Also it was fun to play the basketball game and foosball in the basement. My only complaint (but I would not knock down the review stars for it) was there is no easy access to a bathroom upstairs. "We had a great time a the Mama Bear Cabin. It was so cozy and had everything we needed. The fishing spot the owner shared with us worked out great, we were able to catch some salmon and stock up the freezer. We didn't want to leave."

"The property was beautiful, spacious and secluded. The kitchen was fully equipped for any meal you would want to prepare. We had a group of 15 ( aged 5 months old to 77) and everyone enjoyed it. We played cards, pool, ping pong and some fished on the private dock. Our host, Linda, arranged for 2 fishing trips and a day of massages.
