"Port Orford is a beautiful, laid back and quiet town on the south coast. It is a wonderful destination, however, it is recommended you seek alternative vacation rental property. My family and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday here (booked in June). "The location was great. I had to do some work, and the fast internet speed greatly helped. Great views from the top floor. It is as a bit cold, so we did not use the deck, but it would have been fun to use. The bushes have grown, so you can see the ocean from the deck and main floor. The hosts/property management is great to work with. Good communication. Overall, enioyed the stay."

"We loved the location. Tranquil private place a couple minutes out of town. The owner promptly responded to my questions. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, pots, pans, etc. Everything needed to cook just about anything. Plus a good assortment of plates, glasses and silverware. A very cool place to stay if you’re planning for a southern Oregon vacation."

"Communication on how to check in was awful. I received an email "here are your keys" but nothing about how to get in. Got there and there was a lock box but we never got a code. Side door was open (lock is broken) so we got in but could see people were living there... very scary. Contacted vrbo and found out that our rental was actually around the side of the garage (not in sight). So we were in somebody else's house. The host needs to have separate addresses for the two places like A and B, and...

"The house is in a great spot. Things were clean. The bed in the main bedroom is quite worn out and saggy, the washing machine didn’t work and the ramp down needs some grip tape put on it. My girlfriend slipped and fell really bad. She wasn’t seriously injured but was bruised and sore the rest of the trip. I informed the property manager about the washing machine and only got a generic response from Vacasa."

"The property perches on a cliff that overlooks Battle Rock and looks over Port Orford Bay and out to the open ocean. Sea conditions were very mild during our stay. I'm looking forward to hearing the crash of waves when the sea is more active during our next visit. Close by there is beach access. Given the competitive daily rent, a visit of two to six people would be greatly enjoyed. The unit is fun and quaint and depicted well in the on-line info. "

"Loved this place! So quirky but charming. The Loft was very cool (I should call it ‘the library’ because there are even more books up there than downstairs! Kitchen well appointed. Heater works great. Only negatives were that refrigerator runs off & on, and at night it sounds like it’s powering up. I had to close the hall door to the living room so I wouldn’t have to hear it. And the other thing was the bed, it’s horrible. It is way too soft and unsupportive, it feels like you’re laying on foam...
