"Pictures of the property depict a lovely lake scene. The lake is actually a quarter mile down the road. There is no lake access available. The house had multiple problems including open dryer vents, cable lines hanging off the house, sort it out electrical outlet, soft spots on the deck, broken down old ski-does in the overgrown backyard. "The cabin and property were beautiful! We rented it to stay at to do a memorial service for a family member in a nearby town. The amenities are great for families, my adult children even really enjoyed themselves. There were a couple minor issues but we just left a note for the property manager. The one complaint was the two upstairs bedrooms beds were EXTREMELY uncomfortable. But, the cabin was great and we’d definitely recommend it…and would stay again!"

"Enjoyed staying at this Vrbo. It is just as described a romantic getaway. Communication with the owner was excellent and the property was meticulously clean when we got there. Enjoyed using the kayaks boat and paddleboat on a beautiful Murphy lake. The weather was excellent, which helped us stay. Excellent Vrbo property we plan on returning next year"

"This home was the only choice for 5 beds/baths but it also happened to be an amazing house. Right on a beautiful lake, newer home with fantastic design and decoration. It appears the owner uses it for their own family instead of just an investment. The best part was the home theater which made for a great family memory. Only regret is that our schedule was full of activities outside the house, otherwise we would have loved to spend more time there. "

"Beautiful house with a lot of history. Very nicely decorated had all the amenities. The owner was very easy to communicate with. Kids had a lot of games to choose from. We played the corn hole. "We (family of 8) can't get over how much we loved this place. The house is beautiful, it does show the charachter of an old wise woman! The animals are so fun, so loving, very theraputic and you just want to love them all. Maureen was wonderful to work with."

"This was our second time staying at the cabin, and it was just as good as the first time! Its exactly as pictured online, clean and spacious. We love spending time on the big front porch wiith a glass of wine and a book to read, so quiet and peaceful. The location is perfect, less than 10 minutes from our family in Marlette. You'd never lnow the property is on a main road,the driveway is long and the cabin is a quiet oasis in the woods! Ashley is a fantastic host!"
